Traderwannabe...the 1 lot buyer is the shark testing whether they are the first in the queue. U will see this often in many counters also. Most of the queues are by the shark. Bursa is heavily manipulated and unless the counter is fundamentally strong....it can go up and down fast depending on which direction the sharks want.

Most likely these shares were dispose off by Demi Maju...( probably not able to get funds in time ) and Ricky probably must have collected a lot at these cheap prices.

Ketua umno sold all "his" shares and now become Mr Chairman...These shares are most likely held as nominees for Ricky...and so are many others.

Once RAPID go ahead...it's all system go.

Piotoy..they have more or less allocated the proceed of the rights to invest in 2 additional lines ( i think will double their existing capacity ), erp system and some for working capital. If they can double their capacity...shd be okay for time being. Bear in mind the biz with BAT will be a very lucrative one. I also believe the new managemt are more dynamic.

piotoy..sometime we must not be distracted by the noise. The important thing is whether Bright fundamental improve or deteriorate. I think the depress price is due to weak holders like Demi Maju disposing...once this is over, we will reap the rewards.

piotoy...you will never lose averaging down your cost with this counter unless the fundamental change. Let Ricky and gang push down as much as possible. They often do to force margin call to collect cheap. We cannot fight them but need to follow them..buy cheap when the opportunity present itself. I have used this strategy for some time now and the rewards are very satisfactory.

Someone is collecting the warrants...despite the high premium, it is moving up rapidly. The mother share price is suppressed so that the warrants looks expensive and to entice people to sell...If there is such confidence in the warrants, the mother will be laying golden eggs sooner or later.

Terry..unless you are insider working on a project...you can only speculate. KNM is an established process equipment manufacturer and with the large value of projects to be dish out by Petronas...even a small % wud be enuf. This time around, i believe they are much smarter and have probably learn their lesson.

Next FY profit going to double. I think they are accumulating at the low price to eventually takeover?

This RAPID project is a gold mine for KNM....there are so many process equipments to be used for the RAPID facilities.

Agree with trader88...there is not much shares floating around. With a recession proof business and mostly high quality multinational clients, zero gearing... it will grow rapidly with the new management. The company could actually raise fundings without going for the right issues with it's zero gearing but choose to go for right issue to dilute the previous majority shareholder.

piotoy..what i mean is that with most of the top shareholders on margin a/c, any sharp fall in price will trigger margin call/force sale. If got cash to top up...no issue. But I believe the sharks are taking advantage of the vulnerability of those top shareholders who don't have cash to top up to suppress the price and force them to sell cheap to them. I believe Demi Maju is a major casualty of this. As trader88 point out, it's a hidden gem at the current low price.

Piotoy..agree...that why i say be prepare for the wild swing...never play contra cos once you are trapped....be prepared to pay a high price. The ex majority shareholders have already pay a very high price. If you look at the top 30 shareholders, majority are margin pledge...and a wild swing down will caught many with their pants down.

This is what happen when solid fundamental stocks are oversold...he he plenty of room to go uppp.

Agree..it is grossly oversold. You don't get such opportunity often. The thai situation is only a blip...fundamentally the company is still solid. What is there to worry...the more it drop, the better for us.

sssa..these machineries are going to ramp up the production to double that currently. Substantial amt from the rights issue are use to buy it...i believe for the lucrative orders from BAT which is currently sourcing from Toyoma aluminium foil which is just next door to BAT. Once the machines are installed ( can always ask when it can be ready during Monday AGM )...the money will start to pour in to Bright.
