Star possibly breaching its own conflict of interest for reporting the news as headline...
I'm in construction too, much bigger one... if your client keep on wanting you to change or rectify the completed building, 5 times in the last 3 years and keep on wanting to change... they need to give new extensions...
Also Star chosen to call on the bank to release the guarantee, but not suing Jaks to claim the guarantee + asking compensation... WHY??? Because Star know they can't win the case because they are the one kept on asking the change!!! Only insider know why...

I believe Star and Jaks both want to resolve this asap... Jaks also want to focus less on property development...and start focus on government infrastructure projects...

Ok... Thanks Edgeprop! Now the picture is clearer... Jaks got points to defend itself... 50mil can be a long case to settle.... the value of the initial deal had up trpple... and when the case finish, the value of the undeveloped land will further up another 200% to 300%... I guesz Star Media need cash and want to settle the development with Jaks! Putting this case to court can force all parties to reach new agreement... which most probably to sell the entire PRIME land or project to a large developer for HUGE amount of CASH!!!! SUNWAY???? KYY ...David Vs Goliath is possible!!! SaiLang tomorrow morning!!! Jaks might get another 200mil to 300mil from resolving this deal!!! HIATT AH!!!
