Cash position.
As at end of 2016, MPB has a net cash of RM75m. Coupled with RM200m medium term notes (MTN) which has yet been issued, MPB will have a total cash reserve of RM275m. This would enable the group to support the acquisition through internally generated funds. However, we view that the acquisition would limits future M&A activities should MPB want to maintain a healthy cash reserve and dividend payment.

Pricey acquisition.
We deemed the acquisition price to be on the high side. Premised on Rev Asia’ FY16 earnings of RM4.2m, the acquisition translates into a PER of 25x. This is above MPB’s 5-year historical average PER of 14.5x. Nonetheless, the purchase consideration came in at the lower end of the independent valuer’s estimation of between RM100m to RM118m.

only critical point here is entry price...my third round caught the knife too early...

yes it will be boring...historically, POS will take very long time to break new ringgit level (eg rm3, rm4, rm5..)

my higher price batches (27c-29c) bought from cut loss of all my losing counters..hope POS could help me to recover the losses :)

KUALA LUMPUR (May 4): Pos Malaysia Bhd is still waiting for clarity from the government on whether it can raise the postal tariff hike, said group chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh.

"This matter has been raised by not only Pos Malaysia, but also the deputy minister of multimedia and communications. On our part, after a certain number of years, Pos Malaysia can put it in a proposal to gradually raise the postal tariff," Mohd Shukrie told reporters today.

He was speaking to reporters after attending a memorandum of collaboration signing between Pos Malaysia and electronic commerce retailer Lazada Malaysia Sdn Bhd to establish an electronic commerce regional distribution center at the former low cost carrier terminal site in Sepang.

Pos Malaysia, Lazada plan RM60m e-commerce regional distribution centre

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd and Lazada (M) Sdn Bhd have signed a memorandum of collaboration to set up a RM60 million e-Commerce Regional Distribution Centre in Sepang.

Pos Malaysia Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh said the the distribution centre, to be located at the former low-cost carrier terminal in Sepang would provide value-added services such as air-sea-land transportation solutions, international transhipment, postal and courier services and warehousing facilities, among others.

"The distribution centre would be able to handle 182,000 tonnes of items, annually. Next year, we target to have 34 million items followed by 64 million items in 2019," he told reporters after the signing of the collaboration here.

The hub was expected to benefit both international and local e-commerce players and customers in 30 countries in the Asia-Pacific. - Bernama

Its not abt Kenaga ...but some issuer may go to the extend to push down the closing price below exercise price during last few trading days before expiry, which effect cash settlement calculation..

i nvr play warrant for cash settlement, so not sure exactly how it works..

Let see mother closing price till 9may..i hv not own any FGV or its CW..still monitoring..
