after further reading...its seems Media proposed to renew the buy-back authority, as previous buy-back approval will expiry on coming AGM...

so its not really a new news or new buy back request, but just Media have to renew it in every AGM, if Media intend to continue its buyback authority after AGM..

might be the sudden price surge from few days ago is due to this reason..insider may took advantage before news...

On the questionable portion..if Media buyback below NTA yes its positive...but if buyback above NTA (if price surge beyond NTA before AGM)... yes its look overpay..unless Media is very confident on their further earning and NTA..

I dont know what is MRT ads contract forecast earning..may be have to wait Sifu Icon8888 or LC Chong to come out with analysis.. ha ha..

Yes agree..Media price easily can be manipulated due to comparatively low volume counter..rarely volume spikes..good place for intelligent contra players..
