Abenomics is also banking on that to jump start Japan's economy. there are pitfalls however, which you guys would just have to read up in Krugman's monetary policies!

the series of bad news goes like this in full blown (at least in theory) : money printing -> hyperinflation (market crash 10-20%, hyperinflation takes a while though) -> interest rate hike (mopping up excess liquidity, Bernanke's target 2015-16 hike) -> credit crunch (market crash 40-50%)-> Recession/Depression -> financial regulation -> market recovery. Market that is overleveraged will bear the biggest brunt!

if what is true of Bernanke's reduction to 65b bond/treasury buying, then it is good news as Kenneth Fisher said. it shows recovery and slowing down of the above recklessness! Rogers is worried about recklessness, this very same guy who said gold is heading US$900 per ounce! sheeshh....

Its the company's increase of outstanding shares that will be the focus of raising additional capital eventually! I do find the report saying Gan's family also held assets of the company (namely luxury cars) under their names. So Skpres has developed kinda a fiefdom theory against the better judgement required by the investing community!

The increase in share liquidity is an interesting development to get analyst houses going soon! When? I won't know. If only 600m shares outstanding previously, and held so closely by Gan's family, can bet you nobody's really interested! With 900m now, and a further dilution eventually with the warrants, hell, more interesting development coming after IBs recently bought up big chunks of the warrants! Still early days for this cash machine counter! :)

most of Gan's purchases are to increase production capacity! you can see from the annual report of all its subsidiaries. the word is going out that this one will be injected with a lot of funds too! if i were to make intelligent guess, its because business has reached a plateau and Gan is working on increasing production after Dyson Singapore did the same on its vacuum bits. Just my 2-kupang!

as said, good time to acquire. Shareholders are doing the same

actually cancellations doesn't mean anything. it could just very well be passengers moved to another flight due to low load factor. This happens regularly with a lot of transportation companies including shipping, buses and trains. This can very well happen with AA with its fleet of planes, but with Malindo, i am not sure!
