Dear all, technically it is not a buy yet. Can check the graph movement. History will repeat itself. This stock always go up after ex dividend. 26/09/2011 paid 5c dividend price at $5.23, reach $6.23 on 31/10/2011.
11/6/2012 paid 10c dividend, its share price was $4.98 and it reached $5.64 on 13/07/2012. my 2 cts.

MAS cannot keep for long term unless Tony Fernandez is at the helm. Too many sharks eating away the profit.
Only trading buy.
They have to push up price up till today afternoon. Last day to subscribe for its rights. Will maintain until afternoon at 40cts.

There are many stocks with better dividend yield of 3.6 I would convert to other stocks with better yield. Unless there is something brewing that shareholders do not know that is going to be announced by the company in the near future.

Not really. They cannot afford to let it drift below 35cts, or else the rights issue will be undersubscribe. Those who buy the OR (rights form) will not apply and thus they will be at a loss with no extra capital coming in.

Malton boss and Glomac and LBS all same standard, don't want investors to make money from their counter, weird thinking. "Kiam sap"

Dear all, I don't think sellers need to deliver the Pal form when they have sold it.
As for excess, anyone can apply for it, irrespective whether they are original rights holders or bought in the open market.
One can always print the form online or get from your broker (firm)
My 2 cts from pass experience.
Can always check from your remisiers.

yunsking, MBF Hldgs has just declared a 40cts dividend. Can we shareholders who have accepted the take over price of $1.775 protest on this? It is daylight robbery. Basically it is very wrong for this Indian snake to do this. He can do it after he has completely collected 100% of MBF Hldgs shares, then nobody will even care about it. I think we ex-minority shareholders has a case in this. To recall back, I still got paid the difference for Pengkalen shares sold in the open market from the new take over price by the offeror in the late 80's automatically, no hassle.

Yunsking, Hope you can assist. With regard to MBF Hldg shares, the company in charge of collecting on behalf of Impact Action collected the said shares from me on the 16th April, 2013 but to-date no payment received yet. It is over 10 days as stipulated on the document sent to shareholders. Do you have any contact of this company . Hope you can assist me on this. Thank you in advance. Loke

Ooi, if I may call you like that. I fully concur with your above statement. Nobody is paid for writing in this forum. We do not know each other now or ever. No one is an enemy. We are all here to share. What we share may be it is technical or fundamental of the counter or even some insider information. Timing is the most important factor. Even old ducks also can drown if one is over confident or greed rule over the mind.
I have read something written by one sifu, "Tan Teng Boo" from Icapital. In share market there are a few categories of players namely, New Fools; Old Fools; Regular Fools; last and not least Bluddy Fools.
The beautiful thing in the Share market is, nobody (investor) think alike and trade alike. But of course the one who is holding the card is the directors of the listed company. By now if all of you are old timers, should be able to identify who are the good and trustworthy directors in companies that you invested in. My 2 cts.

Why Sell on Monday? The 4th or year end profit will be announced on 28th; 29th; or latest 30th April. Todate 3rd qtr is 9.18cts, last qtr at least 2cts will bring the cumulative eps to around 11cts - 12cts. Maybe a dividend of 2.5cts will be announced or a bonus issue to boost the share price.

This stock, before announcement of dividend will push until near ex-date. My advice is to sell before ex-dividend or else will regret. You may check the history of this stock, its always like that. The boss's style is throw at you cum-dividend and buy back from you ex dividend at a lower price. my 2 cts.

FYI I have been scrutinizing the activities of LBS, the directors are buying and are still buying todate. So Let me clarify its not a trap, just that traders jump in at the wrong time. Let's see what will happen on Friday when all the weak holders are shake out. Buying and selling of shares of this nature is based on the timing.

lmf_hau, I think its a good idea to convert into mother share, the next revised exercise will benefit the mother share probably with a 10cts to 15cts dividend. The warrants will not get it, my 2 cts.

kcchongnz, Sorry to trouble you, can you throw some light on Malton. This property counter was not picked up by you, why? On books, it is very much undervalued, trading now at 52cts, its PER is 3.4; Dy is 4.7; Nta $1.45 (latest) and its par value is $1. Its properties are in prime areas such as Petaling Jaya, Bukit Damansara, Penang, Bukit Jalil.
ps. Do not care what other forumers said, We are in this forum to discuss our views only, not to promote for anybody, only sharing amongst forumers who are interested only. Right?

Yunsking, Have you read the latest news on bursa? MBF has increase the take over price to $1.775 for its share and $.775 for its warrants. BTW what action has the MSWG taken? Any reply from Bursa or SC? I am sure there are some shareholders who are holding quite a substantial amount of MBF shares todate. Any idea what they are doing? TQ in advance for your comment and reply.

Yunsking, why should shareholders be happy with $1.85? Shareholders are not beggars, this is daylight robbery. What happen to the Independent Adviser Circular? They have not sent out yet to-date. What is their professional advice? Why the authorities do not question them? They are all birds of the same feather! Taking shareholders for suckers.

If don't approve, how to be rich! Unlike the old days in the 70's, 80's, the authorities are very strict and to be listed companies must pass certain criteria's like price earning ratios to qualify to get listed with a premium and also must forecast the dividend to be paid in the following year. Now, u help me, I help u attitude is followed strictly. Soooooooooo easy to be listed.

Hi! Sudahkena, adus, sudah let go at 1.50......rugi2...
No worry!
I think the Acquirer has to pay you the difference of the new offer price and old offer price. This has been the case in the late 80's. I was paid the difference after I have sold my Pengkalen shares which was acquire at a higher price later on.
What they do is entirely wrong and unprofessional. To-date the Independent Adviser Circular has not been sent out yet. This Indian is following what law!
2013-03-14 18:21 | Report Abuse
Those who have sold prior to the latest announcement today may have a chance to get back the difference from the new offer price of $1.70. There has been a precedent in the late 80's, I was paid the difference for Pengkalen shares sold at a lower price and was subsequently ordered by the relevant authorities to acquire at a higher price.
2013-03-14 15:31 | Report Abuse
Why go up? Just announced in Bursa, take over price now revised to $1.70 . Still can keep until received IA circular, worth much more than revised price.
2013-03-14 10:40 | Report Abuse
Now 1.75, have feeling the IA document already sent out and will be received by shareholders today or tomorrow.
2013-03-14 10:35 | Report Abuse
I feel the Indian boss will pay out the mentioned dividend as he has collected a lot shares more after the announcement has been sent out to shareholders. If not the authorities will be collaborating with him. After all not much will be paid out. He will stand to gain the most. The IA is still not dispatched yet to-date. Why? This independent adviser must have written something detrimental to the take over price.

Chengyee, may I answer your question? The conversion price is $1,000 to convert 1,000 Perdana warrant to its mother share. You need to buy a bank draft/cashier order and $10 service charge and send it to Perdana's share registrar. Get a form from your registrar or download from the net. Normally it takes 7 to 10 working days before it is credited into your cds account. Sometimes it only take 3 working days (my experience to convert SP Setia warrant into its mother share). You can only trade once it is credited into your cds a/c.

Dear all, if you all are bullish on perdana, better to bull its warrant. Only selling at 33.5cts now and only at premium of 2.3% and a gearing of 3.97. Expiry is 26/10/2015. A 10 cent gain in Perdana, you would make 30cts on its warrant. My 2 cents!

Dear Yunsking, I too received a call yesterday while I was driving regarding this issue. As you mentioned, why should they call if it is in black and white. Refer to today's Biz Star, RHB research analyst maintained a reject offer with a higher fair value of $6.12 for MISC. This MBF snake boss is taking the minority shareholders for fools. The MSWG should look into this or else what is the use of this body?
It should be at least worth $2.50 after the sale of MBF credit card. My 2 cents!

KLSE is a gambling house that nobody thinks alike. Everyone is guessing. Its a good chance to buy cheap when others sell. There's a saying, "The person who bought the cheapest and sold the highest is yet to be born". Today seems cheap, tomorrow might be cheaper or the price shoots up. Technical is one thing but fundamental is also important for medium term. The decision is always yours.

2013-03-01 13:02 | Report Abuse
Angie, its not a matter of conversion. You must see a few points to go into warrant. 1. It is cheaper than the mother share. 2. Look at the intrinsic value. 3. Any premium after conversion? 4. Expiry date. 5. Is the gearing worthwhile.
In MBSB case, the expiry date is 31/5/2016, therefore three more years to go. Conversion is +$1.00, so there is no premium in this case. Gearing is 1.72, so it is worthwhile to trade the warrant.

The parties to be blamed for listing and issued at such a high premium should be the Securities commission; Bursamalaysia; Bank Negara; CIC and for this particular CAP, ask Donald Lim our MCA deputy finance minister. Most IPO's should not be given a listing if based on their earnings etc.
