There are 2 modes of conversions:
(1) 2 ASB-LA = 1 ASB OR
(2) RM0.15 + 1ASB-LA = 1 ASB

The choice of conversion mode actually depends on the share price of ASB. If price of ASB >> 0.30 then choice (2) is better.

SBC---Stage 2 of the cycle and very bullish. It hit a new high of $2.35 but formed a “Spinning Top” which imply a temporary top and it consolidated to the low of $2.14. A break above $2.35 will take it to the uncharted territory and estimated next target of $2.56 with strong resistance at $2.50.immediate support is adjusted to $2.20/$2.14 and strong support at $2.05. Don't worry, no bonus for call warrants, adjustments are done.
If the ex-bonus date is before the final settlement date of the Cf, they adjust the exercise price and your share entitlements.

Purchase 1000 shares, cost=1800.00
Right 600 shares, cost= 600.00 (ratio 3:5 at RM 1.00)
Bonus 300 shares (ratio 1:2 of rights subscribed)
Calculated Ex-price = RM (1800.00+600.00)/1900 = RM 1.263

I'm expecting the warrant should worth > RM1.30-RM1.40

I came to know last month Lim & Tan had invited some shareholders for lunch at Federal Hotel but later postponed. Then they sent in the request for an EGM.
They have the lunch invitation again on 13/7/13 (last Saturday) at the same vanue.
Can anyone enlighten us on this issue?

It is cash settlement at expiry date without physical script involved.

It is in-money (AMBank pays you money) when:
share price > (conversion price + cw price * conversion ratio)

To be more exact:

Cash Settlement Amount:
= Number of cw shares x (Closing Price* – Exercise Price) x (1/Exercise Ratio) – Exercise Expenses

* Normally the Closing Price is the average of the five (5) day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of the Mother Share on each of the five (5) market days immediately before the Expiry Date*

If cash settlement amount is zero or negative, your investment in the cw is BURNT.

franked dividend received inclusive the company income tax (presently at 25%).
The income tax has been deducted and sent to IRB by the company.
We received only the gross dividend.
The deducted income tax can be claimed back depending on our personal tax rate. This is normally calculated automatically when we file our personal e-income tax return.

Example: MFM special dividend 62 cents less 25% income tax
1000 shares = you receive 465.00 (620-465=155 deducted)

Franked dividend is compulsory to be replaced by single tier dividend (1 January 2008 - 31 December 2013).
