The enhanced movement control order (MCO) at Top Glove workers' dormitories in Klang, Selangor, ended on Monday (Dec 14), says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The dormitories had initially been placed under an enhanced MCO from Nov 17 to 30. It was later extended by 14 days from Dec 1 to Dec 14.

"A total of 5,805 screenings were conducted and 4,305 cumulative cases were detected.

Six people died in Pfizer’s late-stage trial of the COVID-19 vaccine, the US Food and Drug Administration has revealed just hours after Britain became the first country in the world to roll out the vaccine.

At least one person has died and 227 have been hospitalised by an unidentified illness in India's southern state of Andhra Pradesh.

Denmark says it's found a new strain of covid-19 that might hamper efforts to develop a vaccine, after an outbreak in the country's mink population triggered a mutation of the virus.
