Even FED increases rate this time, I don't think it will affect Malaysia much if compared previous increase. We can see foreign fund keeps to be net buyer within these two months. DJ in US is too high now. Risky for foreign funds how back to US equity.

Sugar price is increased from 2.84 to 2.95. The increase of 0.11 is about 3.87%. Although the % of increase is not very significant, but this will improve the bottom line of fgv as fgv has 51% share in MSM

Felda corp sold 5mil share on 27th Jan. It didn't sell the share in open market. If Proton can be sold to China company, I don't surprise if it happens on FGV.

Today The Star. Malaysia has overtaken Indonesia as biggest exporter of CPO to China. Malaysia exported 993.9 thousand metric tonnes of CPO to China from July to Dec 2016. This is a 53.6% increase over that period while Indonesia's export performance dropped 21%.

When a short term MA crosses over long term MA, it is golden cross. For short term MA, some analyst will take MA20, some will take MA50, it is very subjective. If we take MA20 as golden cross, it will cross MA200 on next Monday. If we take MA50 as golden cross, we may need to wait another 7 - 10days for it to cross over MA200.

Andrew, if using the chart on interachart.com, MA20 (0.379) has crossed over MA200 (0.376). If using maybank chart, MA20 (0.375) is still below MA200 (0.376).

Take MAS as an example. If I am not mistaken, khazanah offered 0.27 in privatisation while its NTA is 0.21. Company with negative profit is difficult to get high price in privatisation. If FGV can shows good result in next coming few quarters, then only privatisation comes in, it will be another story.

on TA, chart is improving. MA20 is moving upward, price has cross over MA200 at 1.78 which is strong resistance, Bollinger line is widening. If it can close above 1.78 today & tomorrow, it will a very positive for further uptrend.

Due to loss in last quarter, its NTA has been reduced from 1.77 to 1.71. If it still has loss in Q4 16, NTA will be reduced again.
