Holding power is more important. Share price can't be non-stop up. Sure has correction.

I am targeting around 0.45 because its NTA has been increased 0.31, from 1.20 to 1.51 in latest financial report. In addition, its all MAs from short to long term are in good sign in chart. Should have longer period of uptrend this time. My cost is 0.14 and it should b lower risk to drop below 0.14. I am willing to hold it for longer time n bet for higher return.

Hope it will b up this time. In last Q1, its net profit was rm41mil, but no up also. I have been waiting it up for long time.

Q3 financial report is out. Sales revenue dropped but profit increase.

I am not an expert in TA. Just hope to do some sharing. Pls don't trust it in 100%. My cost is about 0.08. I am a medium to long term investor. If the coming quarter result is good, I will not sell it although share price touches 0.15 or 0.20. In fact, I hope it can drop back to 0.08 or 0.085 and I can load more.

Its supporting line is at 1.67, 1.63, followed by 1.54. Hope it will not drop below 1.63. Its MA50 will cross MA100 soon. After that, a good chart is formed. However, its MACD is in downtrend. I think price should be consolidated between 1.63 & 1.67 in short term.

In TA, MA20 & MA50 are in uptrend. MA20 will cross above MA200 soon. All these are a good signal for uptrend. However, its MACD is in downtrend. Its supporting line is in 0.085 and 0.080. I think it may drop to 0.085 to have consolidation and then rebound. Its supporting line in 0.080 is very strong. It should not drop below 0.080 if break 0.085. Probably I will collect more at price between 0.080 - 0.085. Thanks.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 16): Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd ( Valuation: 0.90, Fundamental: 1.55)'s free fall continued today to a new low of 25.5 sen after the short selling two weeks ago, after announcing there was no commercially viable oil in the latest well it drilled.

At 3.17pm, Hibiscus was the fourth most active stock on Bursa Malaysia and was trading at 26 sen, down 3 sen or 10.34%, after some 49.21 million shares were traded.

Year to date, the stock has fallen 59 sen or 69.41% from 85 sen.

Remisiers have taken note of Hibiscus' high-risk business operations; previously a special purpose acquisition company, it is now an independent oil and gas (O&G) exploration and production company that specialises in the acquisition and development of O&G assets.

"There is a lot of investment required in O&G exploration. But when there's no oil, why should people invest in the company?" opined SJ Securities senior remisier Goh Kay Chong.

The company, which also announced it failed to discover petroleum in the Haribo prospect in the Norwegian North Sea in July, has exhausted its cash to RM5.93 million as at June 30, 2015. It had raised some RM235 million in its initial public offering in 2011.

Last Monday (Nov 9), Hibiscus suspended its shares to make way for a series of announcements — with one of them being the results of its drilling at the Sea Lion-1 well. It had said then it would know the results of the assessment of movable hydrocarbons in the well sometime later in the week.

Two days later, Hibiscus confirmed no commercial hydrocarbons "were encountered in Sea Lion-1 well", which was in offshore Australia.

"Forward operations are to plug and abandon the Sea Lion-1 well and to demobilise the West Telesto drilling rig from the site," said Hibiscus in a press statement.

The company today said the well has been closed and abandoned.

I think it will close at 0.095 today. When it opens on Wed, it should be opened at price 0.10. By so, it will be easier for it to cross resistance of 0.10

Hi riskab. Actually i felt GL was too early to announce the dividend. There are many uncertainties like the confirmation of FGV's purchase, approval of high court, enter of PN17 and others. I believe GL confirms the purchase from FGV. Otherwise, impossible GL handles this matter in extremely high exposure basis to public.

In fact, I have another thought. With the selling price of part of plantation at RM6.5bil which is RM3.03 per share, it is logical that the share price can be up to at least RM3.00 before capital repayment. GL disposes its asset at higher price. It is deserve for higher share price.

Riskab. Yes, i agreed on your statement. That is why i still hold GL now and i still keep buying it.

GL sold its plantation at 6.5bil which is about rm3.03 per share. I believe the calculation made by riskabso is possible as its selling price of 3.03 is much higher than current share price of 1.68. Dont forget that GL just sold part of it, all not assets. So, i assume the capital repayment on share price should not be huge. Besides, most importance is how GL spends balance money remains. Buy more plantation in indonesia and property investment are positive prospect for me. If put rm329mil in bank, can get rm4mil interest yearly.

In this case, 3.00 and above may be potential also. I am a long term investor. If its technical chart is still look good when it touches 2.50, i will still holdabe further.
