Happened few times to glove counters, when goes up we feel like Ini Kalilah! Then when it drop back, we are filled with regrets that we should have sold earlier.

Really? When I submit my income tax for tax assessment 2022, it will be for my business profit in 2022. Listed company is different?

Let's do some math.
Assuming Harta can earn 700m full quarter next year after ASP normalized.

Normal tax:
PBT: 700m
Tax: 168m
PAT: 532m

Makmur tax:
PBT: 700m
Tax: 222m
PAT: 478m

In total: 54m difference.

Remember that this year, Hartalega gave 90m to goverment as donation. So this 54m is consider better.

And most important it is only for 1 year, so no worries about companies running overseas.

It is highly unlikely the SCR will fail, as there is almost no chance for MMC to go higher than RM2 in coming years as it's a conglomerate, just like Berjaya.
Unless there are more than 10% that hope for higher offer from TSSM. TSSM is highly unlikely to offer any higher price as everyone knows MMC hardly ever touch RM2, he might as well just buy it from open market and trigger a compulsory take over once his share reaches 90%.

There's no way the SCR will fail. Currently it's win-win situation for all. Let me explain what happen to GME and why it is possible for Top Glove.

In simple term, GME stock is over shorted, the amount shorted is more than the available volume in market, so reddit users noticed it, and plan the attack. They buy and hold, forcing the short sellers to buy back. And even until now, the short position is not yet fully covered.

Why it is possible for Top Glove?
Because RSS limit is 4%, and it is very near the limit now! Once the limit is reached, then short sellers have no other way to push the price down! They can hold forever, but then they have to pay interest and also dividen! So time is not with them!

How short sellers in Malaysia work?
1. First they borrow (SBL) from IB and EPF.
2. They can only queue at seller side, creating road block to short.

But here's the bonus lesson I will share, not everyone know.
1. They will short and collect at the same time. U see the support level with big number? Most of the time it is shorties queuing there, to collect more tickets.
2. Then they will remove roadblock, let the price move up, and they eat up some to push it up.
3. Then they will short again, and repeat.
4. Once they have collected enough tickets, they will remove the support. That's why u will see the big volume just goes missing.
5. And if there is big support from retailers or other funds, they will use the tickets in their hand to throw , and remove the support.
6, During closing 4.50pm, they will eat up more tickets.

and that, is what they are doing now in order to cover their tickets and return to IB/EPF.

Tips: They can't do this forever, limit 4% is near.

2. When short sellers need to return tickets??
Answer: No time frame, but are suffering paper lost now..Once dividen is out, they will suffer real money lost because they need to use their own money to pay dividen to lenders...For example they borrow 1000 units from EPF, dividen is 20 sen, they need to pay RM20 to EPF..Now u can calculate how much they need to pay if they dont return...and that is why Top Glove announced 70% dividen rate, Top Glove say u can pay dividen then come short me!!
