JHM Consolidation OUTPERFORM
5G to Unlock Next Phase of Growth Price : RM1.30
Target Price : RM2.00
By Samuel Tan l samueltan@kenanga.com.my
BUY with an upside of 54%; 5G being the mainstay of our investment
thesis. We initiate coverage on JHM Consolidation (JHM) with an
OUTPERFORM recommendation and a target price of RM2.00, which is
based on FY21E PER of 22.2x, representing +1SD above its 3-year mean
considering its exciting prospects from 5G, electric vehicle (EV) charging
stations, horticulture venture and new automotive customers. Its aerospace
venture also offers enormous potential but will only see significant
contribution in 2022 and beyond. Furthermore, the transfer to Bursa
Malaysia’s Main Board will attract greater interest from institutional funds.
The stock is currently trading at FY21E PE of 14.5x; a steep but unwarranted
discount to UWC’s 26x (based on Bloomberg consensus)

HLT Global is principally involved in the design, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of glove-dipping lines for glove manufacturing companies.

KUALA LUMPUR: Glove company HLT Global Bhd reported lower sales and reduced gross profit margin in first quarter ended March 31.

Revenue fell 18% to RM26.13mil from RM31.85mil a year ago.

"The decrease in revenue was attributable to lower revenue in both glove-dipping lines and rubber gloves segments," HLT Global said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

The group recorded a gross profit of RM890,00 with a gross profit margin of 3.4%.

However, the reversal of an impairment loss on a trade debtor boosted its net profit to RM2.6mil.

The group is positive on its outlook for the year.

"Given the vibrant and growing rubber glove industry in Malaysia, the prospect of our Rubber Gloves Segment would seem promising," HLT Global said.

It also see a bright prospect for its glove-dipping line business.

"The Group will continue to execute its business strategies and has put in place a series of future plans to strengthen its position in the glove-dipping line industry in Malaysia as well as the overseas market," it said.

The glove production line auxiliary service provider rose 3.65%, or 2.5 sen to 71 sen with 13 million shares traded. HLT-WA added 3.49%, or 1.5 sen to 44.5 sen.

AmInvestment Bank Research said HLT Global is poised to test the 69 sen resistance level.“With its 21-day moving average turning higher, coupled with higher trading volume, we believe that the bullish momentum has resumed,” it said.

The research house said if it breaks out from resistance, it will travel towards the short-term target prices of 72 sen and 79 sen.

“The downside support is anticipated at 59 sen, whereby traders may exit on a breach to avoid the risk of a further correction,” AmInvestment said.

As China and some European countries and the United States, new cases of new coronavirus pneumonia climbed to suppress investor sentiment, Bursa Malaysia followed a cautious regional stock market this morning.
As of 10 o'clock, the FTSE KLCI fell 2.45 points to 1504.81 points, and earlier rose to 1510.17 points.
There were 373 falling stocks, 317 rising stocks and 352 no fluctuations. Trading volume was 1.72 billion shares, worth RM 78.432 million.
The major losers included QL Resources Bhd, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd, British American Tobacco (M) Bhd, Oriental Holdings Bhd, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd, Maxis Bhd, YNH Property Bhd, Apex Healthcare Bhd and Tenaga Nasional Bhd.
Popular stocks are MQ Technology Bhd, Key Alliance Group Bhd, Minetech Resources Bhd, Iris Corp Bhd, KNM Group Bhd, Green Packet Bhd, AT Systemization Bhd, Careplus Group Bhd and JAG Bhd.
The rising stocks included Supermax Corp Bhd, JF Technology Bhd, Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd, Telekom Malaysia Bhd, Top Glove Corp Bhd, Ayer Holdings Bhd and Comfort Gloves Bhd.
Bloomberg reported that Asian stock markets opened slightly lower this week, as investors considered the impact of the epidemic in the United States and even Australia, and US stock index futures recovered most of the loss in early trading.
Hong Leong Investment Bank research pointed out that the KLCI fell for the second consecutive week last week, with a weekly decline of 38.8 points, due to the rapid recovery of the liquidity of the economy and the recovery of global new cases of pneumonia, coupled with the lifting of the short-selling ban and the possibility of a lightning election in the second half of the year. Due to domestic uncertainties, the KLCI may fall into a short-term consolidation mode.
"However, in the middle of the year, window dressing activities are expected to buffer and sell. The key support level is between 1470 and 1490 points, while the resistance level is between 1514 and 1543 points."

Permaju Industries Bhd continued to bleed red ink for the third quarter ended March 31, 2020 with a net loss of RM2.23 million on revenue of RM14.33 million, dragged by lower sales in its automotive division. There were no comparative numbers from the previous year, due to a change in its financial year end from Dec 31 to June 30.

For the nine-month period ended March 31, the group posted a net loss of RM3.58 million on revenue of RM51.69 million. Going forward, Permaju said its automotive division may continue to face weak sales amid the Covid-19 crisis.
