BJCorp just annouced the formation of another company Berjaya Myanmar. BJcorp has many many businesses and companies but profit BJCorp has none. I am referring to operational profit. So where are the moneys received from the profits of BJAuto, BJtoto and many other subsidiaries and associates and joint ventures companies of BJCorp? Where are the dividends BJcorp received from BJtoto, BJAuto etc.....??? Where? Which BJCorp companies are making losses?

I have called to ask about their dividend policy and was told that there is no dividend policy. No stock market can avoid day traders or contrarians. They will always be there. These are not the people that caused the share price from moving up. It is more than that.

At 046 sen share price, an annual 4 sen dividend will give a yield of 8.7% per annum. This is real decent. What is 4 sen to BJCorp with EPS of 22 sen. Its only 18%. BJCorp can pay out 4 sen dividend for 5 years. By then, there will be more earnings from other businesses mentioned here.

Dividends from BJTOTO and other subidiaries( BJAUTO) are not passed on to BJcorp shareholders. So the shareholders should be asking for some dividends from the investment profits of 22sen. Otherewise, there will never be any decent dividend from BJcorp. Without decent dividend from BJcorp, who will buy the shares? If people don't buy the shares, how will the share price go up? I think it is good to know about what a company is doing and the business directions. The issue is that all the investment profits are locked up in the company for further investments. There are good and bad investments in BJcorp. There is a huge long term debt. The loan interest alone is RM400mil per year. What is BJcorp operational profit? My vote is Berjaya Corp uptrend from now. The time has come and the positive news is the catalyst.. More good news will continue to boost the share price. To me the reporting is not fair to those who do not understand accounting. What is this remeasurement? Because of remeasurement, there is additional RM1.0bil from BJauto. Does this mean, more profits can be revealed or unlocked by BJcorp on other subsidiaries? BJcorp is an investment company, there should not be investment only but also divestment to take profit. Actually it is not the promotion that will push up the share price. Even if it goes up it will only be temporary and will eventually come down. If a company continue to inprove its profit level, the share price will follow suit and vice versa.

Yes, absolutely right, mayl. When a company buy back shares, it means it is cheap and directly supporting at that level. It also means less man more share. The earnings and NAV per share will look better. If one look at it negatively, it will mean people don't want the shares. If one look at it positively, it's an opportunity to buy.
