The big and strong VIPs idea is to make the smaller ones hold their shares and make them impatient. Also to kick out the speculative ones of course. Then only they will back back at lower prices and then push it up. They will thank you for holding the shares for them.

The rm205m contract is not signed yet. So is not part of the profit of 4.6m. Just imagine what will be the impact on the profit after the 205m contract has taken effect. Another positive factor.

The profit of 4.6m is much better than the preceding quarter of 3m. Not bad after all. I thought it is going to be less than 3m because the result will only come out on thre last day of the month.

The quarterly results coming out on the last day of the month is seldom good. Now can just hope for the best. AGM will be in June. That's a catalyst to stabilized the stock price.

To me Continue buy back means its cheap enough for company to buy back. The value should be more. With buy back the eps will be better. My view is that the price will move north. When will this happen, nobody will know. My guess is anytime soon after selling pressure eased.

To invest in this stock, one must have lots of patience and holding power. The group is so vast varieties. Today, automotive is doing well for the group. Tomorrow may be another. So there is up for one division and down for another. Most important is that there is positive growth overall and dividend continue to be declared. I think the next dividend will be at least 2 sens. Profit of RM150m from sale of BJauto shares. New business in Vietnam ( wrong timing for announcement ). There is continued business growth. As such, this is a good group of companies. Have patience is all I can say.

This is a good company for investment. Just make sure you have the patience and holding power.

Agree with johnwoo23. Instaco has paid so much money for back door listing and I don't think they are ready to fail and lose all their money. Instaco has thier reasons to be listed and so far they have made good profit. They won't fail after one year being listed. Moving forward, more good things for the company is on the way.

As far as the technical chart is concern, BJCorp is on its way up.

Yes, wait for 22sen. One more round. Did not announce signing of project awarded in 2013. Now already one year later. Profit for the next quarter will be affected. If this happen, price may even go down to 18sen. Hope this is not the case.

hi Ryan, Last years profit before tax and after tax has a vast difference too. So it cannot be adjustments. it could be expenses not allowed for tax purpose. But it is such a high figure.

I called Berjaya Corp's investors relation to ask this question. I called her at least 3 times. It took her 3 weeks to finally ask me to write to them. Very efficient indeed.

Q3 result: Profit before tax is rm163m. Profit after tax is RM55m. this means tax is 66%. YTD 9 MTHS RESULTS: PBT 431m. PAT 237. This means the tax is 45%. Why so high tax?

Why is the profit before tax and profit after tax have such a big difference (more than 25%) when corporation tax is only 25%? It happens in every quarter financial results.

Unless total market fall, the chances of getting Instaco at 25.5sen will be slim. OCK has started to move up.
