value_invest most retailers are contra players so they focus on short term momentum and catalyst. You are right when it comes to the RI and impairment exercise and long term prospect but I believe most retailers now are looking at monday's qtr report now for their buy and sell decision.

Maybe only if recession hit. Then banking stocks that have good divvy policy will hold up the best

Yes i agree its positive to recognize it to move forward towards banking level rules but wouldnt it read not so well in terms of the report so might effect the positive momentum?

some say resistance at 0.84, some say 0.86, i see 50 day EMA at 0.88 now so i think with the momentum it can hit that just that i am worried on the possible impairments come next qtr report. Now block at 0.82.
