My wild guess is IB(aka sharks) are using highly customized Meta Stock. Maybe they have their own programmer to customize it.

IB has their own customized and more powerful software i believe.

Thanks CP Teh. Ya emotion management takes about 50%, while money management maybe 25% and strategy 25%.

Think if you are a big player, then you can easily break-even the cost for this system IF this system is effective. Otherwise, if you are small player (which most of us are i think), the gain we have will be reduced to cover the cover of using this system. That's my thought about using this expensive trading software.

Not yet game over la unless delisted only.

some more expensive software got more features like scanning feature which can help to save up some time looking at so many counters one by one. some software is free but basic feature only. Myself currently using free one but upgrade to more features system but not so expensive one. Still looking.

haha, true. software is actually a good tool but some 'expensive' software is 'black-box' type. it only gives you the buy/sell signal but never let you know HOW and WHAT it base on to get that buy/sell. This makes people forever depend on this 'special' software to trade, because you need to renew yearly or something like that.

The one who sure get $$$ is the one who sell the system :D

ya, margin cannot be used for long term investor, only for those who are confident to ride the bull with extra quick gain. can be used for swing trader to make some buck too although not easy.

I think fundamentally (looks at all the quarterlies report) it is worse than PDZ and PDZ worth 0.085 now and this counter is 0.66 now.

okay, all the best, gajah. i think need to learn to cut loss. i realize my entry at 1.23 is wrong, so cut it at 1.18. when i see it looks rebound in the beginning of the day, i tot it is a good entry but should look at the closing instead. to be safe not just one day's closing but at least 2 days i guess. anyway, still learning here.

So need to wait for low vol (vol to dry up) first...only touch it..
