assume if u buy 100k at RM0.05 now and sell RM0.08 1 month later.Gross profit RM0.03/pershare. Total GP = RM3000. ur return 60%.. try u study CSL start down 8/6/2012..i try predict this stock can rebound back at support level RM1.35 and above within 1 month.. that time csl-ca level RM0.08-RM0.10..hopefully..

5 days closing price average before the expiry date.

lets say the average is RM1.7 ,your warrant conversion is 1:1 , warrant price is RM0.50 , striking price is RM1.3 = RM 1.8

any average price below RM1.8 , you rugi, and that it.

any average price above 1.8, you untung, lets say average price is RM 2, RM 2 - RM 1.8 = RM 0.20 , and lets say you bought 1000 warrant, your total profit is RM0.20 x 1000 warrant = RM 200

The strike price for CSL-CA is RM1.48 , current mother price for CSL is only at RM1.01. If it expired at current condition, ur CSL-CA becomes toilet paper.

If the mother price manage to go up above strike price at expiry , the issuer bank will post a cheque to you and the amount should be calculated as per the formula stated as announced at Bursa.

They will adjust the exercise price & ratio after the right issue - final exercise price & ratio is subjected to further announcement.

You can always refer to historical announcements of other CWs which are subjected to same exercise. The examples will be (just to name a few ) :

It will be good if you are able to find out how traders react to these news base on historical records.
