The Butterworth international smelting business recorded a loss before tax of RM32.40

The nearest quarter that Frontken can achieve EPS >1.0 was Q3 2008. Now with EPS 1.04, the historical trend in 2015 may not far from now. Perhaps it can do it better than 2015 ? Personally feel now is not the right time to sell it.

This stock have progressive growth since Q1 2016 & also have dividend for total 3 cents per year. With current price(89.5 cents), the PE is just 6.5. It deserve at least PE 8 for it.

Personally feel if competitor paused the production for 1 & 2 weeks, their supply to customer won't stop as they have inventories for few months. It is quite normal for a factory. The direct benefit to SSteel seems is not high.

Yes, all the equipment and materials are there. If some vendor able to modify it, it will be another profit line. Only thing is which vendor will accept this mess. hmm~

Hi probability, as SSteel just terminated the contract with Danieli and wrote off such a huge lost. If in future they want to continue the HRC project, maybe they will find another vendor.

The potential investors still fear with the dark shadow of CSCsteel result. They may wait for Annjoo result to build their confident level.

Prestar also produce mix steel products. If insist want to compare between Prestar with Choobee or CSCsteel, I would take Choobee as the benchmark.

By the way, ChooBee which using HRC as the raw material posting a good QR just now. It is different story with CSCsteel.

ChooBee post a good quarterly result with EPS 6.87 cents. It is a downstream player who use HRC as raw material but it still manage to get a good profit. I believe Prestar will be the same too.

ChooBee result is out: EPS6.87 . It is good and less impact from high material cost.

Future growth for SSteel is good but it has a weakness on stock liquidity.
