I see both of them are giving valuable comments, and they might be the insiders without disclosing confidential info. but unfortunately investors do not like these type of comments...

to me, I agree that Gamuda is a leading construction in Malaysia, but to be world class, long way to go. do not think too big about this company, let's be realistic.

I do hope this counter prosperous as I have invested not less amount.

end of last year 2021, a bunch of old junks in the company retired. now young fella in-charge. pity those senior fella that worked so hard in the past aiming for the position but taken by a young guy. hopefully that young bull does not make silly big mistake, goes and challenge lions in the jungle.

why need a young fella to lead? this is not a company that need very young & creative mind to lead. leadership & experience from senior people are much more important. construction is not much other than copy & paste works with little value added thing like value engineering, new construction method ( copy & paste from others ). the main effort is to manage it wisely with experience.

the reality is, although there is still some room for the price up, however this stock is more for trend traders and some retail investors who are taking opportunity base on news and perception. DP fees of 6% is the max % and it won't go up, but only the total amount will go up should the entire cost go up. However, the 6% max fees is based on good PDP's management that keep the completion on time & within budget.

Look at the present construction progress, penalty in term of LAD ( liquidated and ascertained damages) is of NO ESCAPE as the project has suffered much delay due to PDP's poor management, ie: delay of design & site management. The construction delay MAY also dangerously burst the budget. The Pakatan government will not favour the PDP & give them umbrella like BN.
