Since I have money to spare, and am holding only about 1/3 of what I used to have, can really top up cheap.

Been holding AA since 2016 and I've already gotten 12 + 12 + 12 + 40 + 12 cents of dividend so far. Sold off 2/3 recently after the bad Q1, but with profit (I bought lower).

Slowly buying back now. Slowly. Why kancheong. Take your time. Buy abit2 when you see sharp plunge.

I can wait since I'm already going long in the first place. No time to keep trading and monitor price.

Not wise to trade with so much uncertainties ... IF ... one cannot withstand the risks. Investment is always risky. And it's always best to go mid or long with businesses that have solid fundamentals. And cash positive.

If fundamentals are solid, and tons of cash are available at disposal, ... And you are making so much noises, then this counter is not for you. There are lots of other goreng stocks that you can find in Bursa. Faster return and faster terjun also.

Knowing when to buy and sell will be your money maker. When everyone panics and start selling, ready your bullets, wait and buy as low as you can.

As much as I hate to say this, but I've been buying. Because I see value and it's cheap now. If it goes even lower around 2.3 - 2.4 ++ I'll sapu more to even back the amount I previously sold much higher. Why not?

Casino tax hike.

From 2022 onwards, casino gaming tax for the VIP segment will increase to 8% from 5% for the first SGD2.4bn of gross gaming volume (GGR), while the tax for the mass segment will increase to 18% from 15% for the first SGD3.1bn of GGR (Figure 1). We note that Genting Singapore’s total GGR is c.SGD2bn as at FY18, which leaves it with plenty of room to grow before hitting the new Tier-2 gaming tax rate of 12% (VIP) and 22% (mass market). We are also of the view that the 3ppts tax hike will be manageable, as the firm’s FY18 EBITDA margins stands at 48.3% (FY17: 43.6%). Based on our estimates, a 3ppts hike in gaming taxes for both segments in 2022 will result in a 5% decline in FY22 EPS, ceteris paribus.
