I've been following The Edge's boss Tong Kooi Ong's portfolio for awhile and I'm so surprised he bought alot at 1.2++.

I bought mine at 1.83 in 2015. Finally decided to let go and lost confidence with the management. Sold at 1.51 in 2017.

It's been on a downtrend ever since. No dividend too.

The hard earned profits bukan main sedap the management let the anak boss go on a spending spree with marketing.

Bought Ecoworld a few years ago. Until today haven't recovered until now. Luckily I escaped earlier. Good luck with this Chinaman company.

Don't be too happy. Once the spending for 5G infrastructure comes in, it will tank so badly.

Imagine telcos need to install equipments in most lamp post and tiang. This is due to the extremely short distance that they wave travelled for 5G compared to 4G and 3G.

Remember the principle: higher frequency, shorter range. And for 5G, it will be the extreme of both. Extremely high frequency = extremely shorter range.

Lol Ananda is the biggest crony under Mahathir along with Vincent Tan. Now this. Funny.

I have a gut feeling that Tony and Gang might be aiming for a slice of General Electric, which is now hovering around 8-year low.

Remember, GE Aviation is a major engine supplier for AirAsia's Airbus fleet. GE is now in a one-in-a-lifetime low.

Who knows. Just a wild guess.

Usually you order, and it might take years for Airbus to built and deliver.

Good to have new planes but it might take years to get them. And usually a few planes at one time.

And do you think Maybank, Public Bank, CIMB and Public Bank will go bust? Yes there are chances but not as high as a plane going down.

Hopefully AA sells the old plane with the AAC leasing unit and replace the ones with the new A320Neo. Hopefully lah. Win win for AA. Give them old planes for 1bil and get new planes.

Tony is smart. He parked it under the new financial year so that 2018 won't look bad.

It's amazing to see how strongly AA is being supported today. Who knows. Maybe it's Tony and gang. Or the institutions.

It's like a top up card. The good thing is the exchange rate is much lower than those charged by credit card. Let say USD to MYR is about MYR10 = USD2.55, which is much lower.

So if you are those that kept buying from iTunes, Amazon and so on, just use your regular credit card and charge to Big Pay. You get to save quite alot if the transaction value is high.

Also, if you book flights on AirAsia, processing fee is free. Can save abit there too.
Points hard to accumulate because RM50 top up only 1 point and RM25 value transaction also 1 point.

Works as a top up debit card.
Is it good ?? The points can exchange for big points to redeem air ticket ??
