Shacks, I am open to giving the 1st financial year of Mr Wong. Restructuring needs time. Just the business structure standalone and the business standing restoration can take up the 1st 2 qtrs. cheers.

Have a good weekend, folks. :)
Be thankful to nomanland for whipping the charts at zero cost.

The Shooting Star is a bearish reversal pattern that forms after an advance and in the star position, hence its name. A Shooting Star can mark a potential trend reversal or resistance level. The candlestick forms when prices gap higher on the open, advance during the session (0.70 - 0.78) and close well off their highs (High: 0.78, close 0.71). The resulting candlestick has a long upper shadow and small black or white body. After a large advance (the upper shadow), the ability of the bears to force prices down raises the yellow flag. To indicate a substantial reversal, the upper shadow should relatively long and at least 2 times the length of the body. Bearish confirmation is required after the Shooting Star and can take the form of a gap down or long black candlestick on heavy volume (Is 88.6m today significantly higher?)

Malaysia: Is The Ringgit Looking Too Weak?

By Shuli Ren

As the Malaysian ringgit dips to new lows this morning, one investment bank came to its defense, sort of.

UBS thinks the ringgit is falling too fast.

Sure, as an oil exporter and with all the political shenanigans at home and China devaluing its yuan, Malaysia has a lot of problems. But in May, the IMF estimated that the ringgit’s real effective exchange rate was undervalued by 15% – and it’s depreciated 7% further since, pointed out economist Alice Fulwood.

Second, investors worry that 60% of Malaysia’s external debt is denominated in foreign currencies. “On the plus side, it’s not necessarily all dollars.”

Third, in the second-quarter, Malaysia’s current account did not fall into the deficit “as we expected,” instead posting a healthy enough surplus of $2 billion. Fulwood wrote:

This is impressive considering the USD 2.0bn drop in net natural gas exports in Q2… One bonus of ringgit weakness is competitiveness – exporters may be starting to benefit.

The defense from UBS is hardly uplifting however. The bank is looking for 4.20 per U.S. dollar by the end of this year and 4.00 by the end of 2016. The ringgit was trading at 4.1050 recently. It also lowered its GDP growth estimates to 4.6% in 2015 and 4.2% in 2016, from 4.4% and 4.3% previously. In the second quarter, Malaysia grew 4.9%.

I had, have and is still supportive by my holding and is still holding all these while.

Lips sealed on my entry price. :)

USD250m @3.70 >> RM 925,000,000
USD250m @4.10 >> RM 1,025,000,000
Difference 100,000,000 (currency downside of near 11% or the price tag in ringgit term had upsized by some 11%)

Would you pay for Scenario 1 or 2 if you are an upstream oil operator today?

Is the buying of USD250m equivalent to selling ringgit? Isn't this the same characteristic as foreign selling? If you are BNM, how would you decide in the face of persistent foreign selling. Between 2010 - 2013, foreigners took up some 34.6bn, sold 6.6bn in 2014, and for the first 7 months of 2015 some 12bn (woah!). Could the BNM approval had been delayed due these?

Just some imagination. :)

My suggestion is that you study the counter properly and know what business they are in before taking a position. What horck meant is common sense: There has to be a business reason for the counter to move and that means Ingenco has to show sustainable profits moving forward.

Don't expect miracle to happen in the short term.

Youghin Newbie here, what horck was trying to tell was?
