Reason for today surged in all. Europe will be hit hard if they try to reopen their economy. Same goes to US. Nothing will stop unless vaccine can be found.

Final call before leaving to rm2!

I think a few factors would really push the stock higher.

1st) The super high demand for gloves. The demand for gloves is higher than a month ago. Local market is facing shortage as government is virtually reopening the economy. Expect even higher demand when every companies got go back to work next week. In short, we are facing shortage.

2) New major shareholders in. I'm expecting more announcement soon on who is the other major shareholders. When those in, we will see a whole new boardroom. Apart from the MD, i guess we would see a wholesale change in the boardroom.

3) Rubberex is lagging behind Careplus & comfort. I'm expecting this to be rotational play. So interest will be back to Rubberex soon.

4) Some mention of vaccine soon, which is way off the mark. We are not even close to that. We are not going to get vaccine in 6 months time. Trial would take weeks to see the effectiveness, but side effects trial in human would take months. Vaccine is meant for all people. Its not meant only for certain type of people. Which mean, they got to ensure vaccine can help everyone. So far, it hasn't been working.

With China and South Korea facing 2nd wave when the rest of the world still battling hard to even lower the infection. We havent seen the spike in India (world 2nd most populated country) and Indonesia( 4th world most populated country) yet. What more when Europe is desperate to reopen their economy, South America and South Africa just doesnt has the health system in place to contain the virus. Chances of 2nd wave is much higher than getting the vaccine. Things will get worse until we could find the vaccine or cure.

Just FYI, the demand for gloves is higher than ever. You could check around. The price of gloves has increased a lot. Many gloves factories production already full till next year. Local is facing shortage, not to mention overseas.

joyvest... it is always important to know who is the major share holders. The influential shareholders would help to grow the business, provide sustainable financing for the company and give other smaller investor the confidence. It makes a big difference. Imagine, all the news and blog only mention major shareholders disposed off their shares, it created some sort of uncertainty. What if the new major shareholders is Top Glove, or EPF? Would you feel more confidence the share will go up even higher? Certainly it will. So Ruberex would need that piece of news to move higher.

Yes. Which other parties? It's important to know who are the shareholders. Then only get rid of negative news of major shareholders exited.

No. Who has bought all those shares. That is the key. I believed we will see announcement today on who bought those shares.

When there is change in major shareholder, how soon they need to make announcement?

Correction on aun huat exit. It is a cross deal. Which mean someone just bought all their shares. We will see a few major shareholders announcement soon.

Major Shareholders exit is it a good news? Answer is NO if the share price dropped drastically. But after major shareholders disposed off all their shares and the price still doing great, that mean there is someone buying. That can only be good. To disposed off 25m shares in open market, that equal to 10% of the company, that should have caused major declined. But it didn't happened. PP might has caused the exit. Dato Ong wants new major shareholders in his boardroom. Without those old major shareholders exiting, it would be impossible. The only way is to issue more shares and diluted their shareholdings percentage. The rest you figure out yourself.

Mkme75... only in March ruberex has new substantial share holder in the form of hextar group CEO. All these exits only shows that a new boardroom will soon be formed. The new substantial share holder is going to reform the company for aggressive expanding.

This is getting funny. Ruberex or COmfort, both did well for the last 1 month. What to compare? Why Ruberex down and Comfort still doing ok? Because Ruberex has surged more than Comfort for the past 2-3 days. There is nothing to compare. Both driven by gloves demand. Both good shares.

Why rubberex is better, the key word is expanding. When you have demand on all time high, and you expanding at the right time, the share price would price in the prospect of company. 1B to 2.5B. that is 2.5x. There will not be TP. Price will go up and down.

For those already sold or has yet to enter, will be hoping share price to fall. So that they could re enter, or feeling they made the right call. For those still holding, good luck. I'm not recommending buy or sell. The share could still under some selling pressure later, or they could suddenly shot up to RM2. Nobody will know. Know where to cut losses is also a skill.

Its just profit taking. no shares will go up without some profit taking. In fact this is happening to almost all gloves counter now. But surely, gloves demand will continue until next year. Till we get the vaccine, gloves demand will be on all time high. Not to forget, with countries desperately reopening their economy, the risk of infection is going to be high. Not to mention USD is still high. meaning higher margin.
