They actually could have exceed rm2B projects last year. But some delay in the announcement of some projects, means this year sendai would have more projects secured. The only weak point is the 2 boats orders from vahana which owned by the ceo and also weak in local projects. Malaysia has many construction and yet they failed to secure most of it. MRT 1 & 2 gone. Hopefully they will get some soon.

I m guessing the report will be out on tuesday rather than monday with update on new projects. With the Saudi prince is here, sendai will wait for goods news

Last year if without impairment, sendai should hava made a better profit. So with more projects up and running, they will certainly do better in terms of revenue and profits. Unless there is a big impairment. They are improving the profit margin.

Dow Jones caught everyone by surprised. Everyone must be thinking when will it stop. It will stop when Trump announced his policy. Probably some bizarre ones. Local market needs some correction too. But due to some shares still supporting the market, the indices still above 1700. An healthy correction around 1700 would be healthy. Anything below 1650 would represent bear.

Can confirm that market is under going correction. Its not only sendai. The rest will follow.

I read this too. I actually not too sure about their oil & gas sector where they said they are tendering about 12B projects. But with their connection in middleast, getting the liftboats some projects may not be an issue. Oil price has increased. I m expecting oil drilling to grow in europe and US

That so called restaurant (which is so small) definitely would incurred losses to the company. Maybe around rm50k-80k including renovation and monthly expenses. I m not sure is the rest of their so called restaurant or kiosk or food truck. If they can be as successful as Uncle BOB, then it would be worth to look at. But cant see they could get any good profit if the management is going to burn their money by opening in places that got no people ( dont bother to mention demand)

Wow.. this looks like a company with good business platform. But regarding their Harumi restaurant, when I 1st came across this shop, i have no idea what is it. All I know that Harumi shop will close shop within 6 mths. They open the shop at 1shamelin where most of the shops already closed due to lack of customer. Yet they open it there.. so when i see a management did such a stupid investment, now i understand why the share is only 3.5sen

Volume is still there. Check for the last 7 days trading. It has been higher compared to previously. If volume due to sell off, the share should drop like nobody biz. But it didnt and manage to stay at 0.385-0.4 range. It is still within range for a rally.

If you look at the projects they have done, you will be surprised there is a malaysia company involved in some of world's more prestigious buildings in the world

Just FYI, this year they already got 2 projects. Previously the CEO said there would be a few big projects coming in the first 3 months. So do expect more annoucement and also 4th quarter report. There are more projects on pipeline. Qatar rushing for world cup, malaysia KL118 and also the RAPID pengerang project plus Oil & Gas recovery would also kick start more projects. Whether there is any default in payment, that would only happen in 1 or more years time.

Market will in for 1 last rally before it collapsed. US already on record high. Believed that it will rally till the tax announcement. Market are due for some correction sooner or later. As mention, Trump policy will not go down well to all people.

@calvin, when trump is going to impose this policy, who is not affected? All companies would have a risk payment default too. Fact is that india is under a better governance undee modi. So their economy is better. Qatar is hosting the 1st ever middleast world cup. Saudi arabia will be backing them up. Btw, Qatar is actually financial better than Saudi. All companies run the risk of getting bad debts too when economy no good. Sendai is good due to its track record and already hitting sales record even before big projects announcement. And they have done their impairment too on their bad assets. So they will be back.

Trump imposing higher tax or tariff tax. Who would suffer in the end? It would be the Americans. What products are not manufacture in China? Just take Apple. So with tax means higher cost. The cost will then pass on to the Americans. Same like what happen to here with GST. It will affect the sales. I dont see what is related to Sendai? Sendai market mostly in middleast, thailand, malaysia. I didnt read anywhere they got projects in China or US. Are you trying to say the market going to crash? If yes, so your BJC and all your shares would never recover either.

Funny is that vietlott themselves yet to make any annoucement on their 2016 report. Yet people come out and tell people that is a loss making company. Have you seen a lottery company with high sales making losses? They are for the 1st 6 month. The 2nd half of 2016, they turn the company around with 183 times revenue more than the 1st 6 mth.

@chong hon. I doubt they will. After making 2 losses for the previous 2 quarter, they will need money for new projects especially the oil&gas company. If you looking at dividend, you should look at other stocks which give much higher dividend.

With US sharemarket at all time high, you will start to wonder how high will it go? I doubt it has the leg to reach 21000. Market are poised for some correction soon especially when Trump policy is out.

@Calvin. Why US sanction will makes middleast companies failed to make payment to sendai? Middleast revenue derived all from oil. Oil is recovering fast. That would be great news to Sendai who has been bidding for 11B projects in Oil & Gas. Apart from that, Qatar is going to spend USD500M a week all the way til World CuP 2022. Sendai strong presence on Qatar should lead them to more projects. Not to mention locally where more big projects should be out soon. Even if they failed, they have 2.5B projects on hand. For the last 2 quarter, sendai has been making losses due to impairment in the oil & gas company. The impairment already finished. So we would see the recovery in the share price. Sendai success in abroad should be viewed as positive. They have done so many famous and big projects. This company would be in the spotlight soon especially oil & gas sector recover.

The volume has been high for the past 6 days of trading. So do monitor the volume for better clue
