Brokers and IB's (and also Bursa) are at fault in continuously pushing for higher turnover and profits.What happened in NYSE with the CDO's was a result of this.It is akin to a casino increasing the number of tables(ie remisier/dealer);however when shit happens who takes the fall.And also when markets tank 'the banks take away your umbrella'
It cuts both ways with the clients as well but generally; when there is mutual trust and respect...both makes money.....harmony is the key!!

Looking at Sumatec from a broader perspective;this is a really big stakes game.Nobody can time these CF and MNA deals to perfection;so it needs a lot of forward planning, effort and commitment.Therefore I think the rewards/risk ratio is really high for owners.

no need the angst. To those who called sell: you called it right!! but do you profit from it?. The risk/reward(high risk-poor return) for shorting stock is poor; especially KLSE and can run foul off the authorities.Better to focus on futures.Kindly leave a basis/reason for your sell call, I for one will thank you for it.

re read the IPO document.289m shares are offer shares of existing shares and 221m are new issue.Company's borrowings reduce by 400m only after IPO. this is not buy or sell call just FYI.
