Be patient, A&M is progressively run up but HIL does not follow at all, why? Many ppl may think that converting HIL to A&M in order to maximize share profit thus selling pressure is building up. In contrast, HIL may benefit if A&M share price start stagnant at 1.60 and it is possible that share swap (privatize HIL by issuing A&M share ) may be suggested by big owner in order to capitalize the huge cash holding by HIL. They may propose 1000 share of HIL exchange to 750 share of A&M which translate to 1.20 buyout price for HIL. After this exercise, A&M will have additional new share approximately of 200 million issuing to HIL shareholder. Furthermore this exercise is much more easy for funding rather than go through private placement. Let see whether this proposal will become reality or not. Also take note that why HIL management extended the draft circular of proposed acquisition of land recently, is it they have a better plan rolling out ?

Another two projects by HIL in Bukit Kemuning is 108 @ Kemuning Hills and Quadz. The latter features 64 units of two-storey cluster semi-detached houses (there are only 30 units left for sale since its preview in 2H2016). The cluster semi-dees have built-ups of 2,300 sq ft, with prices starting from RM998,000.

108 @ Kemuning Hills comprises 108 units of terraced houses which will be launched by year-end. The units have built-ups from 1,470 sq ft to 1,730 sq ft, with prices starting from RM530,000.

“Terraced houses in this area [Bukit Kemuning] are in the RM700,000 to RM800,000 range. For the price we are offering, I believe they will be snapped up,” Milton noted.

After monitoring a couple of week of A&M vs HIL share price movement, i could confirm that A&M price going up is due to insider accumulating the share as they believe property development start at Pulau Carey by this year will give high earning to A&M after gone through land value re-adjustment. Thus, HIL does not benefit from that and share price is going down despite in bull market.now

@windcloud, agreed with u... not many good stock at lower price now. Sycal is one of them worth to invest at this point of time. Par value reduction is targeted to complete by early of April follow by private placement to improve cash flow. Once this exercise completed, Sycal is poised to fly high. This could be the reason why ACE credit is investing in this counter.

On Feb 10, Sycal Ventures Bhd saw 9.56 million shares, or a 2.99% stake, change hands off market for RM3.55 million. Of these, 8.15 million shares changed hands in a single direct deal at 37.5 sen, slightly above the 36 sen and 36.5 sen they fetched on the open market.

Interestingly, Ace Credit Sdn Bhd emerged as a substantial shareholder after it bought 32.31 million shares on Feb 10, giving it a 10.09% stake. Recall that earlier this year Sycal Ventures announced several corporate exercises. This included a proposed capital reduction by cancelling 75 sen of the shares’ RM1 par value. It also proposed a 30% private placement of 96.07 million shares.

Better result only reflected in mid 2017(may'17). Raw material cost is high due to weakening of RM couple of 70% of revenue is in Euro thus i do not foresee good result in this qtr. Don't blindly follow as CSCTEL is a very gd lesson learn for many investor.

A positive news released with property development land injection by Dato. Ng family. Proposed acquisition gain of 6 million will be reflected in Quarterly report very soon under MRFS requirement. Both property development project will further increase additional net cash on hand of 60 million upon completion of the project in the end of 2018. By then, I will estimate the total cash on hand to be 280 million which already worth RM1 per share.

Bloomberg new released on 31 Aug 2016 :The good times in the world’s top steel producer may not last long. China’s biggest mills including Hesteel Co. Ltd. are warning that the improved conditions and rising prices in the first half that helped them to lift earnings may soon be about to give way.
“Industry prospects are not optimistic,” Hesteel, the listed unit of China’s biggest mill by output, said late on Tuesday as it reported its best six months since 2011. While the market had gained some momentum in the half, helped by a factors including low inventories, the sector remains on a downward trend and demand didn’t rebound significantly, it said. The gloomy outlook casts doubt over whether the recovery in China’s steel market -- which benefited after Beijing boosted credit and infrastructure spending in the first half and moved to cut industry overcapacity -- can be sustained. Citigroup Inc. has said indicators signal sluggish growth in China for the rest of the year, and the China Iron & Steel Association warned earlier this month that there may be significant declines in demand and output.

PengiunDad, HCK has no relationship with HIL/A&M. I just curious why HCK capital launch new property development project during sluggish market now. So far, my understanding is Mr. Clifford Hii also holding plenty of land bank (low entry cost) which can inject to HCK . Its share price is always stands firm above 3.00 despite EPS is low at this point of time as many analysts has projected high profit margin from its property development project.

PenguinDad, when we see a lot of frustrated investor/share holder sold out their share is indirectly giving us the signal of bearish reversal for this counter because seller is getting less and lesser.You can see this round of price surge surpass 0.90 is because buyer willing to accumulate the share at higher price which they could not get them substantially at the price range of 0.80 to 0.90. HIL stay good chance in making more profit as compare to A&M as they focus on affordable housing(low to middle cost) surrounding Klang Valley. I guess affordable housing programme may get more support or incentive from this year budget as government has taken several measure to resolve housing issue.

Q2'16 result showed marginal improvement as compared to Q1'16 but it was lower if compare to Q2'15 mainly no profit contributed from manufacturing division. Anyway, its balance sheet look stronger QoQ/YoY , cash on hand already at ~160million which is huge for SME thus, its share price should not be judged based on EPS. Expected mild profit taking on this few day but the share price will go up to RM1 very soon. ( Note: Its parent company A&M share price has gone up today with moderate vol....sound good)

Actually there were no big operator/player accumulating the share, from the daily vol. starting from 12 Aug until 24 Aug total vol. transacted is huge at 27.7 m share. Just imagine if the total sell vol. is solely generated from Mr. Gan , his share on hand has probably fully depleted. but report from BSKL showed that he still holding 21.1m share as at 24 Aug ( note: his share balance is 28.6m share as at 10 Aug). From the data, I can concluded that the share is go to our small trader hand, there is why the share price cannot go up further...
