angie80 - Westport:
Broke out of the 2.56 resistance on 6/5 with volume. After touching a high of 2.91 on 12/5, it came under profit taking as is normal for a share with a lot of overhang. The hammer formed on 22/5 potentially means that the bearish undertone could be over but we need to look at the following day's pattern to confirm this.
Immediate support = 2.65/2.67 (gap support) ; Strong support at 2.55
Resistance 1 = 2.80 ; Resistance 2 = 2.91
You may want to exit if 2.65 is broken through.

It opened today with a gap up and almost hit TP1 of 0.85, but fell short at 0.845. It succumbed to selling pressures and formed an engulfing bear implying that maybe it might undergo some correction. The support level to look out for is at S1 0.775/0.78.

Not yet. It is still consolidating. It needs to clear the important resistance at 0.585 formed with the evening star formation on 15/5 with volume first. Please note that the daily volume traded remains low. For a bullish run to sustain, it needs to be accompanied with substantial volume on breakout.

Still in the correction phase. Today, it closed the gap support at 4.22/4.30 on the back of high volume, above MA30 and looks bearish. Not out of the woods yet. Can expect to see it trend towards the 4.00 zone on further weakness.

cherry tomato - For a start, the free Chart Nexus will do. You can learn TA from books, internet and videos, no problem. Whether you want to purchase the chart system or not depends on your needs. Some people trade armed with just their TA knowledge and Chart Nexus and they are very successful.
Of course, if you buy the system, it offers you more value added information and alerts and stuff like that. But acquire the basic TA knowledge first. Don't need to learn everything all at one go. You can start with recognizing and interpreting candlestick charts and chart patterns and knowing where support and resistance are and the implications of volume.
Don't bother about other indicators first. Start interpreting real life charts of stocks that you trade or of any other stocks of interest to you and you can post it here for Matrix and others to add notes to it. That way, you speed up your learning process. Once you become better at it, then you start introducing other indicators that you wish to familiarize with, one at a time into your reading. This way, you don't get confused with too much info.
As the saying goes - before you can walk a thousand miles, you need to start with a 1st step. (sorry for being philosophical) Cheers.

Major support of 0.80 was broken and it found strong support at 0.755. Now re-testing to break its immediate resistance at 0.87 convincingly with the gap up yesterday with volume. If overcome, the resistance level is at 0.96. If it fails to stay above 0.87, it should find immediate support at 0.815/0.82.

Reading: First broke out with volume on 17/3 followed by 2 consecutive gap up candles to start an uptrend interrupted by intermittent consolidations. The latest consolidation phase, sparked by the dark cloud formation on 24/4 seems to have exhausted and it appears bullish with increasing momentum. Potential MACD bullish crossover in progress.
It is important for its price to stay above 0.825 to sustain the uptrend and equally crucial for the dark cloud of 24/4 to be cleared with volume to scale new highs.
Support(S): S1 = 0.775/0.78 ; S2 = 0.74
Resistance (R): R1 = 0.825 ; R2 = 0.86
Target Price (TP): TP1 = 0.85 ; TP2 = 0.89 ; TP3 = 0.92

Broke out of its 0.28 resistance line with volume from its rectangle trading on 10/4. Bullish engulfing candle on 6/5 restarted its bullish run after a series of consolidation prior to that. A break from 0.31 will see it test the 0.32 resistance before scaling new highs. But a break below 0.295 will see it fall back to the 0.265 level. Currently, 0.31 is posing as a stubborn resistance.

Resistance = 0.32.

Immediate support is at 0.475 and 0.45 respectively. Resistance = 0.56.

Bearish trend compounded by the formation of the 3 black crow on 15/5. The bearish trend will likely continue as persistent profit taking will have a multiplier effect to its downturn. The next 2 support levels lie at 4.485 and 4.175 respectively. Immediate resistance is at 4.985/4.99.
Possible panic selling appears to drive the price down further, most likely due to its exposure to Vietnam.

Sp BoiBoi - FA is a very wide field. I am not sure which part of FA you are interested to know more. I am not qualified to teach you but I can share what I do know. If you want to trade strictly FA, do check out this blogger on I3 by the name of kcchongnz. He is very good in FA especially on share valuations but you do need some basic finance knowledge which I assume you have due to your keen interest in FA, to really understand his writings. He responds to all questions.
But I would strongly recommend that you get some books on financial ratios and on trading FA books if you do not already have some.

Matrix did the following analysis on 15/5-
Stage 2 of the cycle and very bullish. After hitting a high of $0.545 it is under consolidation at the moment (That is why it is stagnant). It may have found the new bottom at $0.465, a break above $0.525 will take it to its strong resistance at $0.545. If break will get to its next target of $0.575 and into uncharted territory. Any further weakness should find support at $0.485/$0.465. Exit if $0.425 is violated. nicholasnwh90 (14/04)
After the reading,
L&G did hit my target of $0.575 on 17/04 and into uncharted territory. Today it sets a new high of $0.61 and moving towards its next target of at $0.625 and $0.655. Any weakness should find immediate support at $0.575 (Resistance turns support). MinMin (24/04)
15th May
As mentioned earlier, stage 2 of the cycle and very bullish, as suggested it did moved to my target of $0.625 on 28/04 but formed an Evening Star the same day which imply consolidation and it did. It consolidated and may have found a new bottom at $0.54 on 05/05. It is rebounding from this new low and testing its immediate resistance at $0.585. A break above $0.585 will take it to next resistance at $0.60 and the previous high of $0.625 and beyond.Immediate support adjusts to $0.55/$0.54, for short term traders please Exit if $0.54 is violated with volume.

Sp BoiBoi - I will try to help you. Intrinsic value (IV): You need to have some basic finance knowledge to understand its calculations.
You will have read that there are various methods for calculating intrinsic value - Benjamin Graham's growth formula, Residual Income Model, Discounted Cashflow model (DCF), Dividend Discount Model and other variations by different experts. It all sounds fantastic and confusing too. The most commonly used method is the DCF method, my personal preference too. It involves calculating free cash flows and assigning discount rates and terminal rates. I won't go into the details. You will need to sit down, find a good explanation of it in a book or online and go through it slowly.
1st important question - which model should I use?
You can go with just one model, in which I will suggest to you the DCF method or some investors use 2 or more models to calculate and then compare the values (can be time consuming). Last resort - if you still don't get the calculation, there are online IV calculators.
2nd important question - what should I do with the value?
Depends on whether you trade TA or FA. I won't go into details. If not I will be filling up Matrix thread. IV is just a guide. The share may or may not reach its IV or it may take a long time to reach it. But it does give us an idea of how expensive or cheap the share is currently.
I hope I did not confuse you.

On a downtrend. Formed a bullish engulfing candle on 18/4 and tested a high of 0.39 on 19/4 with volume. Due to the overhang in the share, it came under selling pressure and is now consolidating. It needs to close the gap resistance at 0.34 successfully before attempting to break the resistance at 0.36. Need to clear 0.37 with volume to break out from its downtrend line convincingly. May have bottomed out at 0.295.
