Lim said Hong Leong's note today on Dayang followed a meeting with the company. He said the meeting yielded key takeaways on Dayang's contracts and orderbook.

"Current orderbook stands at RM2.9bn including pan Malaysia maintenance, construction and modification (PM-MCM) contracts from different PSCs (production sharing contracts). Apart from existing contracts, Dayang is expected to receive additional lump sum work orders from clients. We understand there are also some VOs that have been carried out last year. I think the drop is not due to people selling their converted shared because converted shares lee than 9 million. The drop maybe due to somebody dumping the shares. Better sell.

Sudden increase in buy q @ 19 sen.

I believe the boss wants to push up the price. If price goes up, he makes money and the company also untung through wb conversion. When we sell, we sell in the open market, make a lot of profit also doesn't affect the boss or the company. Win-win situation.

Almost no risk if you convert wb. When I first converted, Trive was around 15-16.5 sen. I don't think it will drop to that price after going up to 27.5 sen.

I am one of the earliest to convert wb.

I am converting more wb. Sent last Friday. My wb cost 4 sen. Unless it drops below 14 sen, I am not losing.

I have already made 2 rounds.

It should go up because bonus issue coming.

After additional listing announcement on 9/10 and 16/10, the price of Trive shot up. Let's see this time ...

Say, yesterday A bought Trive at 21.5 sen and B bought WB at 5.5 sen to convert. After 8 trading days, say the price of Trive drops to 16 sen. A will lose 5.5 sen per share. B still gain 0.5 sen. If the price shoots up to 27.5 sen (recent highest), A gains 6 sen. B gains 12 sen!

Almost sure "untung". Why don't want to convert earlier? So much safer than buying mother share directly or buying WB and hoping for it to go up!

Volume transacted well exceeded the converted shares listed today.

8,715,500 converted shares is not a lot compared to the daily volume transacted over the last few trading days. I think the market can absorbed the shares if the holders decide to sell them tomorrow.

Yokemui, there are warrants which are undervalued, not many. I had done warrant conversion for several stocks in the past. But Trive-wb is the best!

Yokemui, i think your conversion of wb is made by Maybank in the name of Maybank. You did not sign any conversion form. I am afraid when you call up, they don't have any record of your conversion. My application is in my own name and the person in charge could easily trace it.

genius, DNEX is different. Conversion of warrant costs 50 sen which is higher than mother share price. Other factors are involved with the price movement of DNEX and WD. No one will convert WD. WD is well overvalued all the time!

TANCS789, sorry to disagree with you, I don't think WB will fly unless some syndicate wants to goreng WB. The price difference between the mother share and WB conversion is getting wider and wider. I bought WB at 4 sen when mother share was around 15.5 sen. So 14 sen vs 15.5 sen. Now WB 6 sen. So 16 sen vs 24.5 sen. WB is NOT moving in tandem with the mother share in spite of high volume transacted every day.

deMusangking, if you read the company announcement, you will find that so far very little of WB had been converted, not "many ppl converting". I am not at all worried whether many people converting WB or not. The bonus issue will surely boost the share price in the near term. If there are more positive news about the company, the price will go up further. I am sure the company wants people to convert the warrants so that they get the money. Maybe this is one of the reasons why WB is not moving. Just my guess. Also, WB was a free warrant for the original holders. Many of them may want to sell to get a quick gain. Hence, WB difficult to rise in price. Again my guess only. Not everybody wants to convert because it involves money and they may be concerned about price fluctuations in the process of converting.
