3) the first restricted border opening to singapore happening maybe by next week and everyone thinks its no big deal. All looking at jb, kl and penang. AA already hinted out in the article. Probably a direct challenge to firefly(mas), scoot(sia) and malindo. I just hope they applied the licence. I was with AA chasing from 1 to 0.7 few years back.. Sold at 2.5 back then. Never doubted AA when even US fund managers kept harping on doomsday.

If you track the drop AA from ard RM3 to RM1.5, it was a series of unforseen circumstances ( AA crash, short sellers, International and national crisis) and to a much lesser extent on its foreign foray.

Will AA continue its stellar performance that has brought them so far?

Can they regain market investor confidence again?

I believe they will. Just head to KLIA and compare the attendance there to KLIA 2. They already have very strong domestic support and will continue to grow.

Will wait for a trigger turning point for the market to regain their confidence. Hoping it will touch RM 2.2 mid term.
