@GS...don't all the plantation companies come down when cpo prices come down? However the mid and small cap ones like TSH and JTiasa tend to drop a lot more thanj the KLKs of the world

@GS....not sure about their forward selling policies but got to be careful as they have huge derivative losses in their books. Some companies speculate on CPO futures and have booked big losses form making bad bets

See that's where constructive and mindless criticism should be segregated. I have warned readers early about peak earnings and even CPO prices turning lower especially if a recession hits. However due to the Long bias of the general crowd, most would rather rely on hope rather than facts

It would be detrimental to readers in this forum to listen to Calvin's advice to just ignore Dorab's warning. Fast forward to today and whre did palmoil close today? RM4498 down 10% in ONE day

For all those in the palmoil business will know that Dorab has been in this business for over 30 years and is well versed with his predictions. How would he feel when this Calvin who is nowhere close to Dorab's stature talks crap aout his predictions?

I will give you a clear example of Calvin's view to the readers about Dorab Mistry's view of palmoil price reaching RM5000 by end June which he predicted in May. he scoffed at him and said he had an agenda of bringing prices or whatever invalid reason

When I wrote my articles on plantation, they were all fact checked and done with the good intention of only sharing my knowledge and views with the forum. The nasty and accusatory comments were also hurtful and sharp. But that's the way when you write an article that has been viewed over 5000 times. I do not hold a grudge over anyone and appreciate the kind comments that I got

Look at Anthonytkh, he is obviously much smarter than most of us in terms of market knowledge. Yet he is humble and even when he rebutts someone he does it tastefully and tactfully

That's the price you pay when you put yourself as a writer. The other comments like "limit up' and market punting comments do not gain any traction as they rarely get any replies anyway.

When you act and show yourself to be an authority on something you are sure to be under scrutiny both positively and negatively. However if your demeanour is arrorgant where you criticize other companies or people's views, then you should expect the same in return

Sorry to be a downer as you are probably losing some money if you are still holding Jtiasa but it's my honest opinion

@mr patience...I honestly would not buy JTiasa as there are many much better plantation stocks to buy. So when it was above Rm1.00 together with Subur Tiasa were very good levels to sell

RM3.16 target price on April 2022...earnings he forecasted totally missed the mark. After results out I highlighted to sell even at RM0.79 as earnings missed completely, even the most pessimistic earnings call, Calvin said no worry, sure ok one. Well it's now 2.5 months later and it's RM0.63. This is a fact

I have forwarded the address and the link for these people to lodge a complain if they so wish.
