I know where I am wrong when my stop loss levels are hit. As for CPO futures I will not cover my shorts until it reaches RM3800 or until there is evidence of a bottom. Good luck to all! Don't argue with the market if you value your money. Leave the ego at the door

The positive we can gauge for now is that plantation companies are not dropping off the cliff and even rose slightly yesterday despite the barrage of bad news from CPO futures

If realized it will be the biggest monthly release in 10 months. that's why CPO prices are already dropping so fast...as I said traders always react ahead of news NOT to the news. We must always stay ahead of the curve

hard to see that happening with CPO entering peak production season. Stockpiles are expected to increase by 13% in June when MPOB releases its next report next week.

@jjptr...you are very sharp....cpo futures will probably drop to RM3800 by August. However plantation stocks may bottom before that BUT the upside expectation must be managed. The highs of RM1.89 should not be challenged and will remain the highs for a long time

If cpo drops 7% and your stock goes up should tell you something

Remember what we are here for guys....it's to make money....Being right or wrong in arguing is not the point BUT being right at the right time in a stock is what counts!

For now TSH RM1.06 has been tested several times and seems to have ran out of sellers at this level there so the short squeeze is on!

However the upside expectations also have to be managed

Stock and commodity markets are about pricing in expectations of the future so we must use better matrix as traders and investors to stay ahead of the curve

So the real damage to the economy and stocks would have already taken place in the 2 quarters precedent to the confirmation of data and reacting to the confirmation of data may be too late

@raymond...thanks for the comments. Yes you are right by definition we need to see 2 quarters of consecutive decline in GDP to confirm a recession. However by the time u get confirmation of the data the stock market would have already priced that in

The true fact about investing is everything has a fair price at any one time….so knowing when to buy and also SELL is just as important…not dum dum buy only

Its almost like saying by the same logic we should all buy bank stocks because everybody will need to use a bank at some point
