Buying TSH was just a trade targeting around the RM1.45 range. I really do not think we will see RM2.00 and above anytime in the near future. Just my opinion having been in this business for over 25 years

1st round I bought TSH was at RM1.09 and sold at RM1.70....I rebought at RM1.26 and RM1,21 but cut all at RM1.19 today

@vtrade..like I have shared in my previous blog post....CPO prices could have already peaked last month hence peak earnings. As for downside targets, there really isn't any sign of a bottom yet

stocks in Malaysia move very slowly so it's easy to react even without discipline...In the futures markets indiscipline will get u killed in a day

@Vtrade and Startofthebull.....Yes shorting the futures market is much easier then stocks. In the US markets as well since for stocks they have the uptick rule while futures you can hit the bid any time

but there may not be profit growth QoQ as we enter the peak production period this quarter

but of course plantation companies will still have bumper profits as the cost of production(depending on size) is from the range of RM1600 to RM2200

@calvin....no you are wrong to say average cost is 1,44 based on your simplistic calculation. Ask any stock market person and you know that VWAP is the right way not your 1 plus 1 divide by 2

@calvin...You have to use the Value Weighted Average Price(VWAP) to calculate his cost. It is closer to RM1.30 since the biggest volume was bought at lower prices and not RM1.79

Hi Donkeystock...yes this is really interesting. Actually nobody really knows how the markets will react should the war end one way or another. However interesting to note that Ukraine corn and wheat has started moving out from yesterday hence the drop in corn and wheat futures now.
