So even if we think the results for TSH or most plantation companies are going to be good, it does not guarantee price appreciation. Do not follow the self professed guru blindly and be mislead. Such a douche

Any good analyst will tell you this.....If the results of a company is perceived to be good and you expect the price to go up and it doesn't, you have to ask if the price has already discounted the results. For example when Cepat Wawasan results came out and was perceived to be good, the price was RM1.06. 1 week later its now RM0.99

Stocks go up and become overbought and then they correct. When stocks go down too much they become oversold they will rebound. Keep it simple. It is so irresponsible to advise people to buy and close your eyes with no money management. Preach until become self made mesiah

I will say this one more time... Nothing in stock markets or life is certain, only death and taxes! Anyone who tells you or sells you visions of grandeur on being a millionaire or hide in the safety in palm oil should be shot

plantation index up 1.5% while TSH is down...not so good

USDA released a bullish WASDE report last night which continues to show a tight balance sheet for grains across the board especially wheat. This should provide some fundamental support to CPO prices and plantation stocks today

From here on my comments will be more constructive and hopefully add some value to the good people of i3 forum

@benho....cpo futures is down 2.6% at current time. Its been down 12 % since last week so if this persist then we have to evaluate if the uptrend is intact

rm1.40 seems to have some support. See if it can close above it

Just my 2 cents on why I think plantation stocks may have peaked....1) peak earnings- markets discount things 6 months ahead ahead we may have seen the cpo price top. 2) Dorab Mistry, a prominent CPO veteran reiterated his view that CPO prices have peaked and is heading to RM5000 by June

the reason why plantation stocks are selling off is because we are entering peak production season. Any CPO trader can tell you that. So if we are entering high production season, the market would also discount the potential of peak earnings soon. Either way just be mindful that there is no sure thing in the markets and be mindful if someone tells you so

please be honest....cpo price came out 10 % last week so its 10% from the all time high which is significant. get your facts straight and do not mislead readers
