Each time its price falls, I bought and not too long it move even higher. This is a good stock so far this year and will continue to do so again and again.

Much better returns I got fas compared with other so called blue chips in my portfolio. A stock highly recommended by my old time reimisier at RHB.

But what I like most are :
1. Strong and consistent FCF
2. Debt running down fast
3. Business growing with good marketing strategy
4. Proven quality management (vs HY's yet to be tested)
5. Dividend payout (HY not paying)
6. Earnings consistently being strengthened
7. Backed by established industry leader in Philippines
8. Forward P/E of at least 10x

In addition, the price of the stock can double within very short span of time.

The lower 2q result from Parent was due to 45 shut down for maintenance la, not due to low earnings from M'sia biz.

Didn't you see how David estimates the 2q earning for Petronm on worst case scenario.

actually the reason for these drop in both PetronM and HRC is that Petron Corp reported a poor results suggesting PetronM earnings to be quite low (considering all probability) and they (batan refinery) had incurred a huge inventory loss which may also happen with HRC.

For sailang, suggest to wait till Q2 results are out.

1/2 year income is P8.2 Billion
last qtr income is P5.6 Billion
Therefore, this qtr income is P2.6 Billion !! for 45days (45days in schedule countenance)
so, if 90days operation will be P2.6*2 = P5.2 ----very close to quarter 1 results..
So, assume no change on Malaysia business , q2 = P1.5b too.
