I am so amaze with bursa investors. We all know our gloves are for export and mainly on Europe and USA. Bursa investors don’t care lock down in England, France and etc. they only care mco 2.0 in Malaysia. By right mco does not affect their revenues and future order..but share price shoot up due to coming mco.

True...don’t over optimistic on recovery stocks since the virus do change. Recovery theme didn’t price in the virus mutate. This virus do attack childrens and the number keep on increasing dramatically. The vaccine need to be updated to adapt with this mutated virus and most importantly can’t be used on children below 16 years old. Meaning this vaccine useless on this group of infected children. This is the facts which IBs or shark didn’t price in earlier. However IBs or shark will adapt to changes faster than retails...last month recovery but this month might back to pandemic themes.

Is it too optimistic that the virus will be completely contained by jun 2021??? I do believe mRNA vaccine will work on the new mutated virus but need some alterations. Even existing vaccine created so many hidden side effects..how about updated vaccine for mutated virus which never gone through any testing nor trial. I do believe demand for glove and asp will normalised, but not by jun 2021. With all the mutated virus around I can only see USA and Europe are heading to lockdown and recovery will be delayed. Market will soon react to this changes after holiday.

At this moment, the virus had mutated, transmit at 70% faster and do attack children below 16. South Africa discover another type of virus variant and awaiting confirmation. Existing vaccine will only cover children above 16 up to healthy old man/woman which is around 66% of the population. However no research on reinfection of covid once the effectiveness of the vaccine subside. Besides the remaining 33% of population (children below 16) can't be vaccinated and remain expose to covid. Too many uncertainies. Health care is one of the ways to hedge uncertainies.

it's true...i cant see any good FA stocks with low pricing now....it's very normal funds shift from overprice stocks back to short selling stocks...it definitely will be back

we all know anything go up will come down eventually and vice versa... any businesses will have boom and doom....i buy supermx because western countries heading to lock down, recovery path to lock down survival path and obm model not fully price in previous quarters. base on 2.4b revenue with glove capacity 24b/4=6billion/quarter, i manage to get the asp at around usd 52 per 1000pcs of gloves. as far as i was informed, 48% of the capacity would be allocate for own distribution and potentially growing in future. Currently the retail selling price is around usd 120 per 1000pcs gloves. there are still almost 100% growth on asp due to obm which haven't been price in. i believe 0.60 eps is easily achievable and will be confirmed in the coming quarterly earning.

New virus variant...now it make sense why jp Morgan downgrade all the glove counters

this pandemic still far from contain especially in the western countries which the sales of gloves come from. furthermore the vaccine is to provide resistant/antibody against covid 19 virus and it's not a cure. For me i would interpret it as the economy start to recover, travel and aviation revive and the hygiene awareness will continue but the battle against the covid 19 still ongoing.

Sales must work in tandem wit purchases. Procurement department have to confirm order the raw materials to cope up wit the sales.. any increase of the raw material price will affect only new orders. We had seen this on hartalega qr report. Nothing to worry on price fluctuation of the raw materials.
