During FY2013, the Group recorded a RM52 million turnover, a 13.2% growth over last year’s RM45.9 million.
In terms of product mix, the software applications and royalty income registered growth of 9.6% in FY2013 to RM22.7 million while revenue from the maintenance, support system, training and implementation section recorded a 13.6% improvement over previous year to RM21.5 million. The hardware, networking and operating system segment registered a 23.8% bounce back in revenue this year to RM7.8 million.
In Malaysia, the Group achieved revenue of RM36.7 million, an increase of 7.0% over the previous year.
On the international market, our subsidiaries continued to deliver improved performance year-on-year. Turnover from overseas segment was RM15.4 million representing another strong growth of 31.5% over the previous year.
Consequently, the Group recorded profit after tax and non-controlling interest of RM1.73 million compared to a RM3.48 million last year. The lower profit is attributable to the significant expansion in headcount, new product development, new offices and operating cost.
At the end of the financial year, the Group’s cash reserve stood at RM34.28 million.

The Year Of GST
When the Malaysian government made the announcement for GST in November 2013, we knew this will be the main business focus for the coming year 2014 & 2015. We immediately prioritise and made our preparations to take the lead to demonstrate our knowledge and expertise in the property industry. Consequently we were the 1st property software company that quickly gained certification and accreditation from the Royal Malaysian Customs on 12th March 2014. We anticipate a good year ahead for 2014 as all customers prepare to upgrade and implement GST before the deadline by April 2015.

Lately Salcon is attracting attentions of fund management companies. This could be sign for the stock to scale new heights in near & medium term.

Suddenly so many Ayams emerge as shareholders of EAH.
