Arm Holdings share price is now above US$148. I have no complaint of Hexza buying Arm Holdings at US$127.175 last month.

Companies like Apple, Samsung, and Nvidia use Arm Holdings' central-processing-unit chip architectures. Arm then receives licensing payments and royalties based on the number of products sold.

License revenue comes from granting the right to use its intellectual property, while royalty revenue is the continuous fee payment based on the usage or sales of that IP.

Arm’s Chief Executive Rene Haas has said that the V9 chip design earns twice the royalties of the V8 generation, with estimated rates around 4%, compared with the average 1.7% royalty rates for prior generations.

This increase enables Arm to claim more revenue from each V9 chip sold.

“As a CFO, it’s one of the better business models I’ve seen. I joke sometimes that those older products are like the Beatles catalog: They just keep delivering royalties. Some of those products are three decades old,” Arm Chief Financial Officer Jason Child said in a CNBC interview.

What could be the possible reason Insas-WC is trading at huge volume in comparison to Insas and at increased premium? Is Ah Thong collecting the warrants since he has insufficient warrants to take his shareholding over 50%?

Insas trading volume for the past 3 days : 167,400 / 79,900 / 203,000

Thong has a good heart. He helps friends, he helped me made a four fold gain on Insas shares. How can I not be grateful to Thong?

Stock

Thong is so smart that over the years he screwed so many people even people in a galaxy far, far away.

Thong graduated from the London School of Economics, UK and began his career in the financial services industry in 1979. From 1982 to 1988, he worked for Standard Chartered Merchant Bank Asia Limited in Singapore where he became Director of the Corporate Finance Division.

This article first appeared in The Edge Malaysia Weekly on November 16, 2020 - November 22, 2020

SELANGOR state-controlled Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPS) could be privatised in the near term, two separate sources who are familiar with the matter tell The Edge.

One source adds that Darul Ehsan Investment Group Bhd, KPS’ 57.88% shareholder, has appointed CIMB Investment Bank Bhd to handle the corporate exercise.
There is no point in keeping it (KPS) listed. The company’s stock has underperformed for the longest time,” he explains.

The other source says he had heard that KPS’ privatisation was in the pipeline but did not know if CIMB had been given the mandate to handle the corporate exercise.

Market observers are not surprised that the exercise was being contemplated as KPS’ stock has long been undervalued.

Privatization will only take place in year 2030.

~~~ Voting by proxy.
Hexza has consistently paid a minimum of 4 sen dividend annually in the past 10 years. This year they proposed a 7.5 sen dividend. There's huge margin of safety to protect from any drastic fall in US stocks values. At least, unlike Insas, Hexza makes effort to reward shareholders with higher dividend.
Stock
Insas is full of "smart" people, at one time there was someone who predicted that Insas will hit 60 ringgit, then went missing for months, now screaming boh chow see.
Stock
Will there be sufficient disinterested shareholders to vote YES? Needs 75%. Are you one of them? Exercise your vote wisely.
Stock
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
@MrSslee, usually I don't like to recommend stocks to others, I just quietly buy and announce my purchases ..... and later my sales. If you desire high dividend yield with high NTA, with high net cash/near cash backing, Hexza looks promising.
