GUYS we have to be rational here:

1. gloves is a profit making company surely next 2 quarters even better results. at the current price it is cheap la
2. contra ban is not possible - if that happens, you know how much the stockbroking firm will lose? the investors will just go to other stockbroking firms. they are not that dumb to do a contra ban unless all of them collude, in which case, it may be a breach of competition law.
3. Windfall tax is another far fetched scenario - government stands to lose more in the long run if they do that. No more glove companies will want to be resident tax here anymore. all switch to other countries. And let's face it our situation now is not as bad as 1998 yet. no reason to panic.
4. Lim Wee Chai and family spent 33 mil to buy back top glove shares - do you really think an astute businessman like him wnats to spend a fortune doing that if he knows there is such a risk? And let's be honest, he of all people will know the risk better than the IBs out there.
