You need to look at the nett asset of the company.. Earning per cent is not a good yardstick to judge. If a small company with limited share listing, the ratio could be very high despite merely 1 million nett profit.. Well, YTL power is gearing downtrend now but pending for a rebound in anytime,

van9511, all subsidiaries will contribute back to mother company.. If YTL is not doing well, YTLP is not any better in long run... i am still waiting for a chance to buy YTL again.... Currently, all my loots in YTLP... A 5 cents drop yesterday is painful too.. i believe the price difference between both companies will narrow down soon.. Estimate both hover around 1.25 in short term unless SBB comes in.
