i wonder is today suspension a full day or half day. Many ppl awaiting the news. Release good news 1st and declare bad quarter. I wonder how that gonna play out within a week time.

are you sure this coming Q will report a good result. Last Q report good results becuase of disposal of corwin. I believed it will still report a negative Q. Analyst will write positively where it loss has lessen but it still negative eps.

Actually I think they will. I believed they will make an agreement with the FSP where they do not make any changes and keep all the supplier until GE is over. In return FSP buy over proton share with price that is value since 1990. If they were to revalue proton today, sure DRB NAT will go up much more. This way, gov can trumpet that they make reach milestone by saving thousand of job and provide security to Proton. On the other hand, FSP get good deal that they just need to lay low for few months. It is a win win i guess.

I guess nobody can tell when the best time to buy. Because if price go up from here, no one will thank you but if price goes down, sure get shot. For me, i will wait till QR release as i don't ecpect a good result. If enter also to earn some mcd money provided today don't close below 1.70 and will clear before month end.

just hope it don't break 1.70. The last round it was well supported at 1.70. if today it closes below 1.70, i believed it will continue to down until QR release which will trigger more selling if the results is bad.

read sarawak report. will there be another bomb waiting to be drop on our ah jib kor? really a ticking time bomb....sigh

Wish those holding DRB will continue huat today. Still 1 week before the QR. We never know. It might shoot up to Rm2 :)

Actually, I doubt there will be any announcement this month. I believed all of us are expecting a bad QR result which will be release by end of this month. Not sure about u all but I definitely not positive on the result. Hence, let say if you are the DRB management, will you.
1. Announce the good news which is the FSP and then follow by a report of bad quarter results? ....or
2. Announce the bad quarter results and let the price settle and then only announce any good news like the FSP later to recover.

If i'm the management, i will do the later. Of course I'm not in DRB management. Hence just blowing some water here. I sold of all my holding because of the above logic and also i saw the price tested 1.84 and fail again. Hence, I decided to take profit on 1.80-1.81.

I believed LTH also thinking along the line. Well, they got cheaply from EPF and can ding dong few round for higher profit. Again, i'm blowing water here. No offence to anyone.

I hv sold off almost all my holding but i don't think i want to share my view as it has some negative element. It would not be fair because it might seem like i try to talk bad on the counter after cashing out and hope to collect cheap. Still hope DRB continue to fly despite i cash out. hi anticonman. that is just my assumption. Also, EPF have sold down so much that they no longer a substantial shareholder. Hence if whatever they purchase does not exceed 5% of total drb shares, no announcement needed.

well, let make an assumption. EPF sell at low to let LTH collect. So price is already high, LTH want to cash out and must have buyer. So EPF come back to the rescue and buy from LTH??? This is only my wild assumption.
