@Zhiying I believe that is because those planning to invest in big qty push the price down to flush out weak holders to sell them at a lower price. Always judge a company by its true value and potential than judging it based on daily price fluctuation

actually correction is good. can add a little more to maximize the locked in dividend. don't worry about price going up or down too much. sometimes market is unpredictable but they always correct themselves to true value

only amateurs judge the quality of a company base on daily price fluctuations

Exactly @FortuneBull Problem is lots of people sell on fear and buy on optimism and dont bother with the actual bottom line (fundamental) of the company. I still prefer to look at stock which are fundamentally sound which are selling at a bottom value and when no one is talking about it.

my two cents. is better not to invest if u get excited easily when price goes up and panic when price goes down. put it in something that protect your capital such as FD.

bare in mind RM1 was the price Actis transacted earlier.

I would say it's fair value is around 80cents to a dollar and those prices are still paying a premium but at least it is a more reasonable pricing

at 1.65 u r actually paying 60x it's earnings and 4 times it's book value. I would call this expensive as u r going for a negative margin of safety

dividend policy is 20% so u can roughly calc 2016 EPS from there

KYY is selling to cover his purchase on Jaks. he is selling Canone too. notice how he sold in small qty as not to suppress the price too much as it won't do him any good if the price drops too low

fundamentally the stock is still good. but u have to keep in long term and don't get scare when it is in correction mode.

Investment is not about prediction of price over short term. Period.....no point arguing and speculating what will happen tomorrow or next week. Study the company and ask yourself, are you buying because it is undervalue and do you see an upside potential over the long run. When i say long run is over a period of 5 years or more. Ask yourself 1 question..where do you see AirAsia in 5 years time? And during that period if you think the potential is not good or it is overvalue, then adjust the portfolio accordingly. I honestly don't understand why get so excited or emotionally distraught over the fluctuation of daily pricing.

finally disposed all shares @ 6.41 avg cost 5.98. I think value a little high now and 2017 revenue will be flat. At least manage to collect 1 year plus dividend plus capital appreciation. will buy in again of value drop to 5plus

we don't need to go to forum to know AirAsia. Just observe the traffic flow at KLIA2 and the Brand acceptance in this region. Ask your friends or relatives when they fly around this region which airline are they flying
