The corruption in the public sector in Malaysia is so entrenched that an invading force would have no difficulty bribing its way through and overrunning the country.

Malaysian senior minister: Rohingya refugees to be deported back to Bangladesh
The government will no longer accept Rohingya refugees who enter the country illegally, and will instead deport them back to Bangladesh, said Malaysian Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
"The government hereby stresses that it no longer accepts these refugees and we are in discussion with the country involved to arrange for their deportation. The government will be more comfortable if the country can accept Rohingya refugees from Malaysia,” he said.
Speaking at the daily press conference today, Ismail said the government would also hold talks with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Bangladeshi government, through the Foreign Ministry, for the refugees to be sent to a third country.
"Many countries are questioning how Malaysia managed the Rohingya issue and some even claimed that we are inhumane.
"So, we ask the Foreign Ministry to discuss with these third countries to take in these Rohingya refugees from Malaysia,” he said.
He said that if the third countries agreed to take in the refugees, then many issues, especially those involving illegal immigrants in the country, could be resolved.
Ismail Sabri said this when asked to comment on the 269 Rohingya refugees who were detained early Monday morning after entering the waters off Langkawi.
Malaysia does not recognise refugee status but has been a favoured destination for ethnic Rohingya, most of them Muslims, who fled a 2017 military-led crackdown in Myanmar, and more recently, squalid refugee camps in Bangladesh.
However, the South-East Asian nation has said it will no longer accept Rohingya refugees as it has tightened border controls to rein in the coronavirus.

Indeed, this is just the beginning of more acquittals to come.
Yes, the prosecution of Musa was biased and as such, the verdict in the name of justice is a fair one which all Malaysians must be proud of. Our dignity has been preserved.

It’s Mutual Destruction, US can only go as far as posturing, no sane economic Advisor will offer up this; it’s not an option but a sure ending nobody wants! Even Trump hesitate from suggestion of unilaterally cancelling Debt obligations owed to China, knowing the huge consequences !

No CCP playbook will be able to stop anyone from leaving HK, once they have made up their mind. It is your opinion that has made a tenuous connection, and it remains an opinion at that.
The anecdote is a personal experience, so for that person racism is real, and your opinion will not undermine the raw emotion of that experience.
It is not clear in your comment whether you recognize racism as real or not (you comment it is not to be accepted, but this does mean you believe there is such thing.). However once I have seen how HKers can disdain / despise the mainlanders for say being crude or gaudy or intrusive or whatever real underlying reason, I have accepted racism / bigotry is to be accepted as an inherent human condition. If we can do so to other ethnic Chinese, why can’t we face the reality that there is racism or bigotry. It is there, maybe as an undercurrent, but it is there in our heart.

The problem lies in the hospital authority and the bureaucracy and close garden approach. The HA's IT department probably doesn't like their data to be connected to other department's system despite a few rounds of effort in electronic health records upgrade. And yes, there will still be some processes or IT systems in many HKSAR Government departments that are yet to be updated.

Amongst the excellent and award-winning work that Suaram has undertaken is detailing and documenting the abuses by the Malaysian authorities using laws such as the Sedition Act, the Internal Security Act (ISA), the Emergency Ordinance, the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) and numerous incidents of deaths in police or law enforcement custody and enforced disappearances.
Indeed Kua himself, and many from Suaram and their supporters, have suffered from the abuse of these laws. Many of these laws derive from provisions in the Federal Constitution dealing with national security and times of emergency that allow for draconian legislation that has the effect of violating the human rights and fundamental liberties of thousands of people over the years.
These are the same or similar over-arching provisions upon which the government of China is now relying, and which Kua appears to be defending.
It, thus, comes as a complete and utter shock that Kua would suggest that the government of China should not be criticised because to quote: “China has not broken any human rights in Hong Kong yet.”
Must we wait for the house to be burnt down before we accept the warning that it is dangerous to play with fire? And the point is, China does not come to this with a clean slate or clean hands.
When you add to what is being proposed the kidnapping of individuals from Hong Kong who then show up in mainland China, either in detention or being charged in court, and the countless mainland Chinese lawyers prosecuted/jailed and banned from practice for trying to defend human rights cases or causes, you have no choice but to be very deeply concerned.
Yet Kua is prepared to advise and adopt a “wait and see” approach and to grant the government of mainland China the luxury of the benefit of the doubt. Who knows, he seems to suggest. Wait till we see the actual wording of the specific law. Maybe it won’t be so bad.
Sadly, it is a luxury the democratic and progressively-minded people of Hong Kong can ill-afford.
