I am a frequent customer of AA as well. What i have noticed over these past couple of months is that the average ticket price has gotten more expensive. Like what one previous poster said, the price war is over....AA came out that a champ.

What is ther intention to keep the price low? It has been more than 6 months, if sharks are collecting for sure sudah shoot up ma. I mean all parameters are favourable to AA now, ringgit strong, oil price low, MAS in trouble etc etc....so what are they waiting for?

What is MBB's intention of releasing such a controversial call so near to the Q results? As a reputable IB, wouldn't it be more prudent to wait and make the call using ACTUAL AUDITED financial numbers as a basis rather than some dodgy prediction plucked out of nowhere? Again, what are they trying to achieve here?

Onboard wifi coming soon to AA/AAX flights! I think this service will work very well on long haul flights. I will gladly pay for this to kill the boredom on a 3-4 hour journey.

Yup, that is my feeling exactly coolwater. We never see this kind of market activity during the previous release of quarterly results before. The insiders already know something good is brewing.

If the financial report is poor, we will not see such strong buying interest.

I am feeling optimistic about the upcoming Q results. In addtion, AA have yet to execute their share buyback plan.

Also, if MAS is really serious with restructuring, they will realised that getting into a price war with AA/AAX is unsustainable. MAS is a not a low cost carrier, if thy priced their flights like one...they will be doomed to fail again.

Take it private means restructuring is coming, route rationalization including canceling unprofitable routes and other cost cutting measures. So AAX is poised to take full advantage of all that.

Market down overall, volume not very big...but still can go up by 1 cent. This is shaping into something interesting after the repeat fluctuations between RM2.20 and RM2.40 we've seen in the past. This time I think it will finally fly.

So much more room to grow, even in Malaysia...with the recent turn of events affecting MAS, expect the market share to increase further!

The ebola outbreak is currently only affecting parts of Africa and AAX do not have any routes to Africa. Care to explain why we should 'run'?
