CAREPLUS GROUP BERHAD
Type Announcement
Subject OTHERS
Description Careplus Group Berhad ("Careplus" or "the Company")
- Extension of Time for Issuance of Annual Report
Following the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) period from 18 March 2020 to 28 April 2020 as announced by the Government to contain the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had on 16 April 2020 granted an extension of time until 30 June 2020 for listed corporations to issue their quarterly reports and annual reports that include annual audited financial statements and the auditors' and directors' reports (“Annual Report”), which are due by 30 April 2020 and 31 May 2020.
In consideration of the challenges facing by the Group during the current situation, the Board of Directors of Careplus wishes to inform that Careplus will utilise the extension of time granted by Bursa Securities for issuance of its Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2019 by 30 June 2020, provided that the MCO period is not extended further by the Government.
This announcement is dated 30 April 2020.

LONDON (Reuters) - EnQuest (ENQ.L) aims to break even this year at $38 a barrel and does not expect to restart its Heather and Thistle/Deveron fields, which produced 6,000 barrel of oil equivalent per day (boed) last year, the British North Sea oil and gas producer said on Thursday.
EnQuest said it expected to produce between 57,000 and 63,000 boed this year, even after slashing operating costs by 30% to $375 million and investment cuts of $80 million (69.58 million pounds) to $150 million.
It added its 2021 production is likely to be impacted by these cuts, but that its breakeven was due to fall to around $35 a barrel.
EnQuest hedged a fifth of its 2020 output, or 2.9 million barrels, at an average floor price of $65 a barrel and 1.1 million barrels at an average floor of $52 a barrel.
“There are no further repayments of the Group’s senior credit facility due in 2020, with the facility maturing in October 2021,” EnQuest said, adding that its net debt was $1.367 billion at the end of February.

I invested in it in 2007 based on assets etc etc then wrote to company secretary demanding info on its Australian business ( the bulk of its business) and suggesting it incorporate those accounts in a supplement in the Annual report and got an unhelpful response. Sold it then knowing it is not a transparent set up but play within the rules and not ethics.
Nothing has changed.

CIMB ( as quoted by Business Star ) reckons there is a possibility of testing for a further impairment to Claire's carrying value of RM 473 million. That maybe so to no cashflow impact. If it sinks or trips water I will be looking to pick it up as the current sentiment seems driven by sheer emotion rather than logic.

Hi daretocutandchange, if there was to be a significant hike in production it would have a mention in the qtrly report. None was stated in the latest qtrly. I think if based on current ops and is loss making then adding extra production should be in the back burner till current operations become profitable. That would be the right thing to do. However I will hasten to add that with Ansell, Careplus has potential.
