Dnex still cheap for tech stock

HDD will still exist for server. SSD is very unsuitable due to reliability issues which have been improving and their finite writes. Server is very intensive. It would be very easy to fill the SSD that it will have no more write capacity. SSDs are best for home users and offices with high productivity demands for now. Eventually, HDD will cease to be relevant. It would be better for JCY to diversify into a new business to minimize the effect of HDDs becoming completely obsolete. SSDs have become much cheaper and will continue to do so with new improvements.

Don't be misled by Director buying. They are afraid of losing control to KYY.

KUB worth at least RM 0.60-0.70

Buying DNEX now is like buying MYEG when it was cheap back then.

Calvin recommendations are okay. He likes undervalued even if the companies are not earning well. It just means they are not making effective use of their assets. They will only realize if they dispose assets to recognize it as a gain. RM2 very possible if their turnaround plan materializes. FY18 should be a good one. FY17 definitely a weak year for Media. Next QR release can expect dividend hopefully.

Maybank is a good buy below RM 9. Good dividend backed by profitable company. Cannot compare to JAKS. Even BPURI with low construction margin is a better buy. Just curious what people see in JAKS other than KYY.
