yes of course it's true for you to get dividend..but for shareholders able to attend AGM & EGM, they must deposit before 15/6..

Well, it's just my wild guess..as date of AGM and ex-div gets closer, trading always be less interesting. I think 15/6 is the last most active day because that date is the last day of depositor to lock on name to be able to attend AGM & EGM.

tongher, the price shoot up at around 2.7 after special dividend declared, i think as part of disposing interest in fuco international. and goes up until 3.6..after that, come down to 3.2 and stabilised around that for month before shoot up again to highest at 3.7+

few days before ex-div, there was huge profit taking..and right after ex-div, another significant sell out taking place.

after that until now, transaction were relatively small..lingering around 3.2 - 3.4


yup, of course there was a say tongher can move up to RM4..but there you go..either or..you want to wait for a longer time, or shorter period..you need to determine it. in the end, what important is, your own timeline, your own risk, your own emotion, your own capital.

ex-div was 16/6..drop of price is caused by people sell out after ex-div + take profit for raya..later will come in again

well..i'm not in position of sell yet..but i'm not kind of speculating. past experience have taught me enough..as for alcom, i'm not buying this share to get fast buck.

but still, we can't fall in love too much with a stock. so, i'm still looking for a good time to take profit, at least a portion of it.

but i've witness how tongher and alcom shot up..whether you realize it or not, mr market is responding that way.

wow..everyone here is comparing lba with alcom..but they were two different situation.
lba n arank are two stock in my stock pick 2017 (but late to enter). but alcom is in my real trade. so, i've been following these three stock closely.

i chose lba n arank at that time simply because of their lower PE, n continuous improvement of their QR. it goes up gradually. but with no major corporate exercise, it doesn't seem to boom rapidly.

for alcom, huge dividend and capital reduction were my first glimpse to the stock. just right after it produce good qr. but at that point of time, after a one day shot the stock mourn. looks like no one get attracted. it shot up again only when officially declare dividend.

so, personally said..lba or arank will continue gradually up, depend on qr and alum price, but won't shot up like alcom.

besides of TA n FA, u still need to consider this. emotion.

yeah..when u said rcecap, i go have a look at what happen..what's interesting was the price movement after the capital reduction..i wonder will alcom replicate it?still learning how cap reduction can boost the growth of company
