hmmm. you guys deserve it. when u buy a stock, u must at least do a fundamental study on the company. when the prices drop, u should collect bit by bit based on your capital ur holding power. price up u chase, price down u sell, when it rebounds and u say its ur luck...

I dont know why, so many online fundamental classes that cost u only around 300 bucks...u have to guts to cut 10k losses but u dont want to spend a few days on classes.

u panic sell because u dont know shit about glove at all. nobody will pity you. this time u lose 10k. next time u will lose 50k. u will end up being like those aunty uncle. all the best.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 — AirAsia Group Bhd is planning to reduce its staff size as the low-cost carrier has been devastated along with the global aviation sector by the Covid-19 pandemic and government measures to contain it, according to internal sources.

Several sources in the airline confirmed the plan when contacted and told Malay Mail that several different department heads have notified their respective staff of this.

The exercise will both affect the flight crew and ground personnel under the AirAsia Group.

AirAsia in talks to sell 10% stake

PETALING JAYA: AIRASIA Group Bhd is in talks to sell 10% of its shares to South Korea’s third largest conglomerate SK Corp.

The stake sale will take place through a private placement of new AirAsia shares at RM1 a share, said sources.

Should the deal materialise, AirAsia will raise an estimated RM334.2mil from the placement of new shares.

When contacted regarding the deal, AirAsia Group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes declined to comment.

According to sources, SK Corp had initially intended to acquire more than 10% of AirAsia’s shares.

The potential private placement does not require AirAsia to seek a fresh round of approvals from its shareholders, as it had already been approved during the group’s latest annual general meeting (AGM) held on June 27,2019.

As set out in the notice of AirAsia’s second AGM, ordinary resolution 5 stated that “the directors of the company, in their absolute discretion, are empowered to issue shares in AirAsia from time to time, for purposes and persons that are deemed fit.

“This is provided that the aggregate number of shares issued pursuant to the resolution in the preceding 12 months (from the AGM) does not exceed 10% of the total number of issued AirAsia shares, excluding treasury shares.”

SK Corp, with primary core businesses in the energy and telecommunications industries, registered a revenue of US$213.6bil and total assets of US$257.9bil in 2018.

The government is looking to arrange a RM1.5bil cash injection into three local airlines, including AirAsia.

The financial aid will help support the local airline industry to prepare for operations post Covid-19.

Airlines have been cash-strapped following the grounding of most of their fleet during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) previously reported that aircraft movements at Malaysian airports had declined by 11.9% in the first quarter of 2020 compared to the same quarter last year.

“Some 80% of the RM1.5bil will be guaranteed by Danajamin, while the remaining 20% will be corporate guaranteed, ” the source said. Danajamin is a government guarantee.

As such, the potential private placement and the government’s financial support will solve AirAsia’s immediate cash flow needs.

Becoz more villagers were now monkey hunters, it became more and more difficult to catch monkeys as their numbers started to dwindle. The supply of monkeys started to come down. So the old man gathered all the villagers and told them he would pay $20 for every monkey they bring him. Wow! That sounds great and the villagers started to drum up the beat to look deeper into the forest and higher into the trees to look for more monkeys. And they were paid $20 for every monkey they caught and everyone was happy.

As more and more villagers turned monkey hunters, the monkey population in that forest started to dwindle very significantly and it became increasingly difficult to catch even one monkey a day. As such, the villagers started to return to their farms to work.

Once again, the old man gathered all the villagers and told them that as he is running out of time and he needed more monkeys, he would up the stakes and pay $50 for every monkey delivered to him. He also told the villagers that as he has to leave the village for a few days
to attend to some business in town, they can deliver the monkeys to his assistant and his assistant has been instructed to pay $50 for every monkey caught.

The villagers got all excited and went deep into the forest to look for monkeys but by this time, there were no monkeys to be found. The villagers approached the assistant and told him the $50 offer is wonderful but the monkeys were simply not there.

That assistant then said to the villagers......"I know there are very few monkeys left in the forest. But here in my cages, I have thousands of monkeys. Tell you what...why not you buy these monkeys from me at $35 each. Then when the old man comes back, you can sell your monkeys to him for $50 and make $15 each."

Wow! That sounds like a great idea...the villagers thought. So they bought as many monkeys as they could from the assistant at $35 each.

After that day, the villagers never saw the old man or his assistant again.

Even if AirAsia open and new company nobody will forgive old AirAsia for betraying its shareholders.
I will certainly not forgive old AirAsia for betraying its shareholders... for letting AirAsia goes bankrupt.
