Pelanjutan Tempoh Kuarantin Wajib Bagi Pengembara Yang Tiba Di Malaysia

Mengambil kira situasi COVID-19 di dunia ketika ini apabila lebih daripada 50% negara melaporkan penularan Variant of Concern (VOC) dalam komuniti, maka Sidang Khas MKN hari ini bersetuju untuk memperketatkan SOP Pelanjutan Tempoh Kuarantin Wajib ke atas Pengembara yang tiba di Malaysia seperti berikut:

• Semua pengembara perlu menjalani ujian pengesanan RT- PCR COVID-19 tiga (3) hari sebelum berlepas dan hanya keputusan ujian negatif boleh menaiki penerbangan untuk masuk ke Malaysia.

• Semua pengembara perlu menjalani ujian pengesananRT- PCR COVID-19 semasa ketibaan di Pintu Masuk Antarabangsa.

• Tempoh kuarantin wajib ke atas pengembara warganegara Malaysia dan bukan warganegara yang diberi kebenaran masuk ke Malaysia dari Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal dan Pakistan dilanjutkan daripada 14 hari kepada 21 hari di stesen kuarantin yang ditetapkan oleh Kerajaan. Pelaksanaan arahan kuarantin wajib selama tempoh 21 hari ke atas pengembara warganegara Malaysia dan bukan warganegara yang diberi kebenaran masuk ke Malaysia yang tiba dari INDIA ADALAH DIKEKALKAN.

• Tempoh kuarantin wajib dari SEMUA NEGARA LAIN dilanjutkan daripada 10 hari kepada 14 hari di stesen kuarantin yang ditetapkan oleh Kerajaan. Namun begitu, tempoh kuarantin 14 hari ini akan dilanjutkan selama 7 hari lagi (menjadikan jumlah kuarantin 21 hari) sekiranya terdapat keperluan berdasarkan hasil penilaian risiko yang telah dijalankan pada hari ke-14. Kuarantin tambahan ini akan dilaksanakan di stesen kuarantin yang sama.

• Ujian ulangan RT-PCR COVID-19 dilakukan pada hari ke- 10. Sekiranya dilanjutkan tempoh kuarantin sehingga 21 hari, ujian ulangan RT-PCR COVID-19 dibuat pada hari ke- 18.
