Metrod Holdings Bhd is an investment holding company. Along with its subsidiaries, the company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of electrical conductivity grade copper wires. It operates in two business segments Copper Business segment includes procurement of raw materials, manufacturing, and marketing of electrical conductivity grade copper wires, rods, and strips. Its products include copper rod, copper wire, copper strip and copper profile. Its products are used in cables, magnet wire, welding wire, transformers, and lightning protection. And Hotel operations. The company derives the majority of the revenue from Copper Business. Its Copper Business has operations in Malaysia while it has Hotel operations in India.

To be entitled for any of the above, you need to purchase the shares one trading day before the ex-Date. You will not be entitled for the above if you purchase the shares on or after the ex-Date.

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.
