"Magna Prima has seen its share price skyrocket to RM 1.66 from RM 1.00 but HUA YANG has not shown any price correlation. Logically speaking, there should be some correlation between these two companies despite the acquisition price, but It seems like the market has not spotted it."
Your logic is no logic. How much I buy into a share of magna should not correlate with huayang share price. If HuaYang bought at RM3/share, Huayang share price should jump too? It is the biz performance of magna should dictate the huayang share price. Right?

Well, Im basing this price correlation theory over the years of monitoring the market. Take WCT and Malton for example. There is some price correlation. Take a look at UMW and ICON, another correlation. Technically, there is some price correlation if a company acquires another. But the chart on HUAYANG showed close to no correlation with Magna, giving me a hypothesis that the market has not seen or factored its acquisition in Magna.
